Method For Producing Volatile Chemical And Fermentation Device

Abstract: A method for producing a volatile chemical, said method comprising, by using a culture device which is provided with a culture tank for culturing a microorganism capable of producing the volatile chemical, a liquid supply line for supplying a liquid culture medium obtained in the culture tank to a storage tank, and the storage tank for storing a solution containing the chemical obtained by culturing the microorganism, culturing the microorganism in the culture tank while holding the solution in the storage tank, wherein a gas phase part in the storage tank is connected to a gas phase part in the culture tank via a ventilation pipe.
