Method For Securing An Aircraft
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for securing an aircraft (10) flying over the ground, the method comprising the following steps: - acquiring a first height of the aircraft (10) relative to the ground at a first moment, - acquiring a second height of the aircraft (10) relative to the ground at a second moment, - recording the time interval elapsed between the two height acquisition moments, - calculating the speed of approach of the aircraft (10) to the ground, - comparing the speed of approach of the aircraft (10) to the ground with a rate threshold value, - detecting a risk of collision of the aircraft (10) with the ground when the speed of approach of the aircraft (10) to the ground is greater than the rate threshold
