"Method Of Inhibiting Turbulent Tapping In Blast Furnace"
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for suppression of rough tapping which reliably fills the blast furnace lining back surface clearance in the vicinity of tap hole from which furnace gas leaks and enables a furnace gas seal effect due to filling of injection material to be maintained for a long period of time. The present invention provides a method of suppressing blast furnace rough tapping comprising injecting a high viscosity injection material through injection holes 9, provided at sides of tap hole 6 to a blast furnace lining back surface clearance, characterized by injecting high viscosity injection material of a viscosity of 2000 to 7000cP by utilizing an ejector effect arising near the tap hole during tapping.
