Abstract: Detail part drawings of LCA Aircraft calls few dimensions from Fuselage Reference Line (FRL) or A/C Centre line on the detail part drawings. These dimensions are not able to measure in the detail stage as FRL or A/c C/L is an imaginary dimensions and not available physically to measure it on the part. Fabricated parts are not able to certify to the drawing because of the above reasons. Hence, a Methodology provided for Interchangeability (ICY) dimensions on the detail part drawings within the component from the part edge or tooling holes instead of dimensions called from imaginary reference like Fuselage Reference Line (FRL) or Aircraft Center line {A/C C/L).

TECHNICAL FIELD
Providing methodology for measurement of Interchangeability (ICY) dimensions on detail part drawing with in the component from part edge or tooling holes instead of dimensions from imaginary drawing details like Fuselage Reference Line (FRL) or Aircraft Center line (A/C C/L).
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
In detail part drawings of LCA Aircraft, few dimensions are called from FRL or A/C Centre line on the detail part drawings. These dimensions are not able to be measure in the detail stage as FRL or A/c C/L is an imaginary dimensions and not available physically measurable on the part. Fabricated parts are not able to be certified as per drawing because of the above reasons.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
Exclusive sketches were made with part edge dimensions in lieu of ICY dimensions from FRL or A/C in co-ordination with Design, Methods and Quality department to inspect the dimensions for the parts that were already fabricated. Accordingly parts are inspected and certified for the aircraft use.

PROCESS DETAIL DESCRIPTION:
Dimensions which are-called with respect to FRL, Aircraft center line and X Y Z planes in the drawing are meant for modeling datum references for the component design. Dimensions are called with respect to NMG references to clarify offsets from the outer NMG surfaces to the component which is reflected in Model. As long as parts are manufactured using released CAD models, the dimensions will be automatically achieved while programming and.can be inspected by comparing with the CAD model. These reference dimensions are noted as ICY or JIG in some cases considering its criticality during assembly. However, to measure the dimensions for the parts which are already fabricated and where lugs are trimmed before checking the dimensions, an exclusive sketches made in this regard through CATIA software to be used for measurement of the above said dimensions to check and certify the pats from the part edge or tooling holes instead of imaginary details called in the main drawing. For certain parts, it was unable to generate sketches to measure from the part edges due to form, shape and presence of contour on multiple sides (surface referenced geometry) of the parts. For these few parts checking fixture to be developed to use the parts.
