Referring to figures 1 to 4 the milk boiling alarm device adapted to place on the cover plate of milk boiling vessel. The said device comprises hollow body consisting of bottom part having a hole and a top part. A heat sensing circuit powered by a battery with (1) push button to power ON/OFF and (3) LED light indicator, for

indicating device working and to indicate Battery condition, mounted in the mountings formed in the said hollow body. A (2) buzzer, for generating audible sound when milk is almost about to get boiled, connected to the out put of the said heat sensing circuit. A heat sensor, for input signal for triggering circuit board (7) when temperature of milk is about to boil, connected to the input of the said heat sensing circuit. The said heat sensor mounted in the said hole of the hollow bottom part so as to protrude out. Three mounting holes made on top part of said hollow body for mounting said push button on/off switch, LED indicator and buzzer.
For proper functioning of device battery condition should be good. To check the battery condition a known low battery indicator circuit is connected across battery terminal. In case battery is low visual/audible alarm generated for visual alarm a red LED lamp is provided in the circuit and a buzzer generate audible alarm. The device is supported with a low battery indicator circuit, indicate RED LED glow with flash if battery power is low. Which in turn helps the device to function properly in operational battery- power range and avoids false alarm. The said low battery circuit, mounted in the said hollow bottom part, connected to the said battery terminal for indicating glowing red LED light to show low battery condition.
The LED light indicator for device working status is of green colour. Instead of two separate LED light indicator it is conveniently provided with single dual colour LED light indicator having green and red light indicator and same is connected to the said sensor circuit and low battery circuit with respective colour light as required.

Working of Device:
The Milk will be placed in the vessel having straight top so that it will be covered flat stainless steel metal plate. The said cover plate thickness should not more than 22 gauge or thicker. The space between Milk level in the vessel and cover plate should not less than 3 cm, having more space will be advisable. It is preferred to put heat on LOW or MEDIUM mode, so that milk warming process will be slow and gradual.
User will need to activate the milk boiling alarm device by pressing push button (1). This device first checks if Battery power status is in operational range. If battery is low then RED LED will flash with audible sound, suggesting to replace with new battery. Green LED on the device will glow with flash indicating device is working with power ON mode. Device will be placed exactly at the center of cover plate. Due to which heat sensor (4) which is located at the bottom of the device will be nearly center of the cover plate and in close contact with cover plate. Optionally a centre hole may be made to direct expose the heat sensor to steam /vapor released from the boiling milk. The hole in the center of plate facilitate for locating heat sensor in the centre. The cover plate without hole in the centre optionally used instead of the plate with a centre hole.
When the milk starts getting warm, it will gradually start making hot steam, When the temperature of the steam above the milk reaches almost 65-75oc, which correspondingly changes the temperature of metal cover plate which is kept over the vessel. The Heat sensor (4) triggers the circuit board (7), which activates the Buzzer (2) by making audible sound and flash with RED Led. It is likely that user is going to perform other activities and may be in other room away from kitchen. The circuit triggering temperature is set such way that device makes sound and RED LED flash almost 2 minute before milk actually boils, which helps user to get time to reach kitchen. Since milk is almost ready to boil, user will need to remove the device and cover plate from the vessel. Switch off the Power mode for longer life of batteries, the LED light will be off. Depending on need user may further boil the milk or turn the heat off to preserve proteins in the milk.
Some places user prefer to boil milk 2-3 times in whole day. For Fresh cold milk the device will alarm bit earlier than milk which is already gone through the first boiling condition.
