We Claim:
1. A mobile communication system including mobile terminals (71) each for
transmitting and receiving data according to an OFDM, Orthogonal Frequency
Division Multiplexing method as a downlink access method,
and according to an SC-FDMA, Single Career Frequency Division Multiple Access method as an uplink access method, a base station (72) disposed in a CSG, Closed Subscriber Group, cell (72-2) and adapted to operate in a closed access mode in which a specified one of the mobile terminals (71) can access the CSG cell (72-2), and a base station (72) disposed in a non-CSG cell (72-1) and adapted to operate in an open access mode in which an unspecified one of said mobile terminals (71) can access the non-CGS cell (72-1),
wherein each cell is adapted to broadcast a CSG indicator indicating whether the cell is a CSG cell or not,
characterized in that
the mobile communication system includes a cell disposed in a hybrid access mode
cell and is adapted to operate in a hybrid mode which supports the closed access
mode and the open access mode simultaneously; and
in that the hybrid cell (4602) is adapted to have the CSG indicator set of indicate that
the cell is not the CSG cell and is adapted to broadcast a CSG-ID which is a specific
identification number; and in that the mobile terminals (71) are adapted to receive the
CSG indicator and the CSG-ID transmitted on broadcast information; and
wherein said cell disposed in a hybrid access mode cell belongs to a tracking area,
TA for the non-CGS cell (72-1) and the CSG-ID is used to determine whether or not
the cell is a CSG cell.
2. A base station included in a mobile communication system according to claim
1, the system also including mobile terminals (71) each for transmitting and receiving
data according to an OFDM method as a downlink access method,

and according to an SC-FDMA method as an uplink access method, a base station (72) disposed in a CSG cell (72-2) and adapted to operate in a closed access mode in which a specified one of the mobile terminals (71) can access the CSG cell (72-2), and a base station (72) disposed in a non-CSG cell (72-1) and adapted to operate in an open access mode in which an unspecified one of the mobile terminals (71) can access the non-CSG cell (72-1),
wherein each cell is adapted to broadcast a CSG indicator indicating whether the cell is a CSG cell or not,
characterized in that
one of the cells including the base station is disposed in a hybrid access mode cell and
latter is adapted to operate in a hybrid mode which supports the closed access mode
and the open access mode simultaneously; and
in that the hybrid cell (4602) is adapted to have the CSG indicator set of indicate that
the cell is not the CSG cell and is adapted to broadcast a CSG-ID which is a specific
identification number;
and in that the mobile terminals (71) are adapted to receive the CSG indicator and the
CSG-ID transmitted on broadcast information; and
wherein said cell disposed in a hybrid access mode cell belongs to a tracking area,
TA for the non-CGS cell (72-1) and the CSG-ID is used to determine whether or not
the cell is a CSG cell.
3. A mobile terminal included in a mobile communication system according to
claim 1, as one of the mobile terminals (71) are adapted for transmitting and receiving data according to an OFDM method as a downlink access method,
and according to an SC-FDMA method as an uplink access method, a base station (72) is disposed in a CSG cell (72-2) and adapted to operate in a closed access mode in which a specified one of the mobile terminals (71) can access the CSG cell (72-2), and a base station (72) is disposed in a non-CSG cell (72-1) and adapted to operate in an open access mode in which an unspecified one of the mobile terminals (71) can access the non-CSG cell (72-1),

wherein each cell is adapted to broadcast a CSG indicator indicating whether the cell is a CSG cell or not,
characterized in that
one of the cells including the base station is disposed in a hybrid access mode cell and
latter is adapted to operate in a hybrid mode which supports the closed access mode
and the open access mode simultaneously; and
in that the hybrid cell (4602) is adapted to have the CSG indicator set of indicate that
the cell is not the CSG cell, and is adapted to broadcast a CSG-ID which is a specific
identification number; and in that the mobile terminals (71) are adapted to receive the
CSG indicator and the CSG-ID transmitted on broadcast information; and
wherein said cell disposed in a hybrid access mode cell belongs to a tracking area, TA
for the non-CGS cell (72-1) and the CSG-ID is used to determine whether or not the
cell is a CSG cell.
