Abstract: ABSTRACT MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION AND MOBILE TERMINAL The present invention has an object to provide a mobile communication system capable of reducing energy consumption of a network node in a local area range. In the present invention, when judging that there is a shift trigger in Step ST1503, a local eNB shifts from a normal operation to an energy saving operation in Step ST1504. In the energy saving operation, the local eNB stops the operation of transmitting at least a part of downlink transmission signals to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) and performs the operation of receiving an uplink transmission signal transmitted from the UE. When judging that it has received the uplink transmission signal (RACH) in the energy saving operation in Step ST1510, the local eNB shifts to the normal operation in Step ST1511.
We claim:
1. A mobile communication system comprising a base station (1301), a
neighboring base station (1303) other than the base station (1301), and a mobile
terminal (1305) which can perform radio communication with the neighboring base
station (1303),
wherein the base station (1301) is configured to transmit a configuration information to the mobile terminal (1305) by means of a dedicated signal, the configuration information being used by the mobile terminal (1305) for uplink transmission from the mobile terminal (1305) to the neighboring base station (1303) and including Random Access Channel configuration related information and an information related to transmission power of a Physical Random Access Channel,
the mobile terminal (1305) is configured to receive the configuration information from the base station (1301) by means of the dedicated signal, and
the mobile terminal (1305) is configured to determine a transmission power of a Physical Random Access Channel being transmitted to the neighboring base station (1303) by using the configuration information.
2. The mobile communication system according to claim 1,
wherein the configuration information includes a preamble format for the uplink transmission.
3. The mobile communication system according to claim 1,
wherein the configuration information includes an uplink carrier frequency and an uplink frequency band.
4. A base station (1301) used in a mobile communication system comprising the
base station (1301), a neighboring base station (1303) other than the base station
(1301), and a mobile terminal (1305) which can perform radio communication with
the neighboring base station (1303),

wherein the base station (1301) is configured to transmit a configuration information to the mobile terminal (1305) by means of a dedicated signal, the configuration information being used by the mobile terminal (1305) for uplink transmission from the mobile terminal (1305) to the neighboring base station (1303) and including Random Access Channel configuration related information and an information related to transmission power of a Physical Random Access Channel.
5. A mobile terminal (1305) used in a mobile communication system comprising
a base station(1301) , a neighboring base station (1303) other than the base station (1301), and the mobile terminal (1305) being able to perform radio communication with the neighboring base station (1303),
wherein the mobile terminal (1305) is configured to receive a configuration information from the base station (1301) by means of a dedicated signal, the configuration information being used by the mobile terminal (1305) for uplink transmission from the mobile terminal (1305) to the neighboring base station (1303) and including Random Access Channel configuration related information and an information related to transmission power of a Physical Random Access Channel, and
wherein the mobile terminal (1305) is configured to determine a transmission power of a Physical Random Access Channel being transmitted to the neighboring base station (1303) by using the configuration information.
