Abstract: ABSTRACT MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION AND USER EQUIPMENT In this mobile communication system a Radio Resource Management (RRM) measurement set (1401) is configured as a set of cells to be subject to processing to detect whether user equipment (UE) therein is able to perform radio communication. Of cells in a RRM measurement set (1401) a coordinated multiple point transmission and reception (CoMP) measurement set (1402) is configured as a candidate set of cells for processing to detect whether the UE therein is able to perform cooperative communication (CoMP communication). Of cells in the CoMP measurement set (1402) a CoMP active set (1601) is configured as a set of cells to be subject to processing to detect whether UE therein is able to perform CoMP communication.

Specification
We Claim:
1. A mobile communication system in which a user equipment and a base
station are configured to perform radio communication with each other, wherein
configuration information of enhanced physical downlink control channel is transmitted from the base station to the user equipment, and
the user equipment that has received the configuration information and the base station perform the radio communication with each other using the enhanced physical downlink control channel.
2. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the configuration information includes information indicative of a radio resource for transmitting the enhanced physical downlink control channel.
3. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the configuration information is transmitted using a dedicated communication signal dedicatedly provided for the user equipment.
4. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the configuration information is transmitted using a radio resource control (RRC) signaling.
5. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein a signal notifying that a configuration of the enhanced physical downlink control channel based on the configuration information is released is transmitted from the base station to the user equipment.
6. A base station configured to perform radio communication with a user
equipment, wherein
the base station is configured to:
transmit, to the user equipment, configuration information of enhanced physical downlink control channel, and
perform the radio communication using the enhanced physical downlink control channel with the user equipment that has received the configuration information.
7. A user equipment configured to perform radio communication with a base station, wherein
the user equipment is configured to:
receive, from the user equipment, configuration information of enhanced physical downlink control channel, and
perform, based on the received configuration information, the radio communication using the enhanced physical downlink control channel with the base station.
