Mobile Communication System, Base Station And User Equipment
Abstract: A closed subscriber group (CSG) cell is a cell that allows use of subscribers. In order to receive the service by the CSG cell, a CSG-ID is required to be notified to a user equipment (101), which cannot be obtained in a situation outside the reach of radio waves from a non-CSG cell. In a mobile communication system including base stations (102) respectively provided to a CSG cell and a non-CSG cell in which access is made to the CSG cell with the use of a CSG-ID issued in a case where use of the CSG cell is allowed, the base station (102) provided in the CSG cell refers to the notified identification information of a user equipment and then transmits a tracking area update request from the user equipment (101) to a core network, and the core network determines whether the user equipment is allowed to use the CSG cell and, in the case where the use is allowed, transmits a signal for allowing assignment of radio resources to the user equipment and the CSG-ID. Specification
1. A mobile communication system comprising:
at least one user equipment; and
a base station configured to perform radio communication with the at least one user equipment,
wherein a range of a closed subscriber group identity (CSG-ID) is notified from the base station to the at least one user equipment, the CSG-ID being an identity assigned to a closed subscriber group cell (CSG cell) in which identified subscribers are permitted access.
2. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the CSG-ID is a physical cell identity (PCI).
3. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the range of CSG-ID is a range of CSG-ID regarding a frequency layer different from another frequency layer to which the CSG cell belongs.
4. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the range of CSG-ID is notified using a dedicated control channel (DCCH) that is set for each user equipment.
5. A base station configured to perform radio communication with at least one user equipment,
wherein the base station notifies the at least one user equipment of a range of a closed subscriber group identity (CSG-ID) that is an identity assigned to a closed subscriber group (CSG) cell in which identified subscribers are permitted access.
6. A user equipment configured to perform radio communication with a base station,
wherein the user equipment receives, from the base station, a range of a closed subscriber
group identity (CSG-ID) that is an identity assigned to a closed subscriber group (CSG) cell in which identified subscribers are permitted access.
