We Claim:
1. A mobile communication system in which a plurality of base stations are
configured to perform radio communication with a user equipment in a coordinated
manner with each other, wherein
a maximum number of signals that can be measured by the user equipment among signals transmitted from the plurality of base stations is transmitted from the user equipment to the base station.
2. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein measurement target information is transmitted from the base station to the user equipment, the measurement target information indicating a signal to be measured by the user equipment among the signals transmitted from the plurality of base stations.
3. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 2, wherein measurement result information is transmitted from the user equipment to the base station, measurement result information indicating a measurement result of a measurement target signal indicated by the measurement target information.

4. The mobile communication system as claimed in claim 3, wherein the measurement target signal is a reference signal to be measured by the user equipment for obtaining a state of the channel.
5. A base station configured to perform radio communication with a user equipment in a coordinated manner with another base station, wherein

the base station is configured to receive, from the user equipment, a maximum number of signals that can be measured by the user equipment among signals transmitted from the plurality of base stations.
6. A user equipment configured to perform radio communication with a plurality of base stations which are configured to operate in a coordinated manner with each other, wherein
the user equipment is configured to transmit, to the base station, a maximum number of signals that can be measured by the user equipment among signals transmitted from the plurality of base stations.

In this mobile communication system a Radio Resource Management (RRM) measurement set (1401) is configured as a set of cells to be subject to processing to detect whether user equipment (UE) therein is able to perform radio communication. Of cells in a RRM measurement set (1401) a coordinated multiple point transmission and reception (CoMP) measurement set (1402) is configured as a candidate set of cells for processing to detect whether the UE therein is able to perform cooperative communication (CoMP communication). Of cells in the CoMP measurement set (1402) a CoMP active set (1601) is configured as a set of cells to be subject to processing to detect whether UE therein is able to perform CoMP communication.
