xiii.) Suitable multimedia processor PC (at remote station) for Real-time processing (Wi-max compatible)
Functioning:
• Refer to the Switching circuit flowchart /Drawings Attached
• Biometric screened Human-Need Based Activation of Live IP Audio/ Video Tranmission:
• In case of panic situation, when possibly the driver/ co-driver are also under threat the passenger onboard can activate the SOS alert signal by giving his/ her biometrics to the base station/ control office to get the assistance of ambulance /police etc,
• Once the SOS panic button is pressed Live IP transmission of Audio/ Video footage would be activated to the remote station/ control office.
• The provision of (facial + fingerprint) biometric makes the distress management fool-proof because at first it will deter any false alarm creator.
• Secondly if one does give the SOS alarm, at first the inner surveillance IP cameras would come in action & make the audio/ video footage of the situation inside the vehicle.
• In case it is a real distress alarm the control / remote office will arrange the suitable help keeping secrecy thereby ensuring max. safety to the personnel onboard.
• And if the alarm is false, remote station would come to know of it from the video footage but in the meantime
also gets alerted for other vehicles of his fleet (&
monitor them), in case such a false alarm was meant
to divert the remote station's attention to do crime on
another vehicle.
Such person can be identified through biometric data
thus received & video footage as available with DVR or
started live thus.
So the remote IP surveillance becomes need based
& runs on manual activation of biometric button & it
cuts the cost of data usage.
NORMALLY even when such a panic button is not
activated till then the IP cameras are put on another
circuit which is linked to a DVR & will keep recording-
the happening during the journey on a HDD that is
USB retrievable, to be used as & when required.
(Passive Mode).
Driver's & co-driver's panic button would be placed at
a concealed location on dashboard / steering column
and may contain foot-operated switch.
