Mobile Station, Base Station, Wireless Communication System And Communication Method
Abstract: A mobile station which communicates with a base station comprises: a distance calculation unit (25) that calculates the distance between the mobile station and the base station; a reception power measurement unit (23) that measures the reception power of a reception signal received from the base station; a rainfall condition determination unit (24) that determines a transmission path quality on the basis of both the theoretical value of a reception power corresponding to the distance and the reception power measured by the reception power measurement unit (23) and that selects a communication parameter on the basis of the determined transmission path quality; and a modulation unit (22) that uses the communication parameter to generate a transmission signal to be transmitted to the base station.
