Abstract: ABSTRACT INTERACTIVE MODELS FOR BUILDING CHEMICAL STRUCTURES AND A KIT THEREOF Examples of interactive models for building chemical structures and a molecular model generation kit thereof, are described. The interactive models are designed to build and represent organic and inorganic molecules possible in nature for the purposes of education and learning, and research. Therefore, the embodiments of the present subject matter pertain to fundamental building models henceforth designed to build and represent all of the chemical structures possible in nature in three dimensions.
1. An interactive model comprising:
a plurality of spherical members comprising a first member and a
5 second member wherein each of the spherical members is to depict an
atom; and
a plurality of attachment members attachable to the spherical
members wherein the attachment member is representative of one of a
type of chemical bond and is shaped to connect the first spherical
10 member with the second spherical member, to form a molecular model.
2. The interactive model as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of
attachment members represents one of a single bond, a double bond, or a
triple bond.

3. The interactive model as claimed in claim 2, wherein the spherical
members comprise a first arm and wherein the attachment member
comprises a longitudinally extending body having a first end and a second
end, wherein the first end and the second end are configured to form a snap
20 fit connection with the first arm.
4. The interactive model as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first end and the
second end have a collet-profile.
25 5. The interactive model as claimed in claim 2, wherein the plurality of
attachment members comprises an uneven surface, at a central region of
the elongate body, to allow translational compression and translational
elongation when received in the one or more first arms for connecting the
first spherical member to the second spherical member.

6. The interactive model as claimed in claim 1, wherein the interactive model
further comprises at least one balloon-shaped member for being connected
to one or more spherical elements from the plurality of spherical elements,
to form a plurality of hybridized molecular models.

7. A molecular model generation kit comprising:
a plurality of spherical members comprising a first member and a
second member wherein each of the spherical members is to depict an
atom;
5 one or more first arms longitudinally extending from each of the
plurality of spherical members, wherein each first arm has one of a first
shape and a second shape; and
a plurality of attachment members attachable to the spherical
members wherein the attachment member is representative of one of a
10 type of chemical bond and is shaped to connect the first spherical
member with the second spherical member, to form a molecular model.
8. The molecular model generation kit as claimed in claim 7, wherein the
first shape of the one or more first arms is a cylindrical shape and the second
15 shape of the one or more first arms is a cuboidal shape.
9. The molecular model generation kit as claimed in claim 7, wherein the
spherical members comprise a first arm and wherein the attachment
member comprises an longitudinally extending body having a first end and
20 a second end, wherein the first end and the second end are configured to
form a snap fit connection with the first arm.
10. The molecular model generation kit as claimed in claim 9, wherein the
plurality of attachment members represents one of a single bond, a double
25 bond, or a triple bond.
