Abstract: This invention is useful for curbing mosquito population near human habitation . The mosquito trop comprises an enclosure with one or more openings in one or more sides. This enclosure is held extended by haning it on some support using threads or hangers its openings allows the mosquitors to enter the enclusre at the time of day break when mosquitoes seek hiding place for the day time. When the mosquitos are all set for the days rest in it , the enclosure is covered by another bigges sheet of cloth and the enclosure under it is made to collapse. In case when the enclosure is made of rigid material, the mouth or say opening is covered by a transparent sheet or plastic and placed in the sun to collect the heat and dry the mosequitoes to death.
