Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION The present invention relates to the field of automobile towing vehicles. More specifically the present invention is directed towards motorbike assisted towing trolley for four-wheeler.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 5
Increasing population leads to the high usage of vehicles. Large number of vehicles/four wheelers are increasing per year on the roads. Due to increasing vehicle density, basic problems related to vehicles are also becoming a headache. As machines are susceptible to failure and can halt anytime, anywhere without any previous indication, for the last several years, towing of cars/vehicles was just a matter of holding the car strongly. But with the passage of time, we had 10 huge advancement in cars and its technology and hence parallel advancement in towing technology is also in demand.
Now a day various new designs of cars have been launched with modified bumpers at both the ends. These modifications create issues when car is needed to be towed in various circumstances. Tow connections with bumpers are eliminated because of these changes. Traditional towing 15 mechanism of holding car from the rear bumper causes damage.
Several mechanical methods are known for the towing purpose of four wheelers. Previously mentioned towing methods are cumbersome and do not provide flexibility in the mechanism of towing the vehicle. E.g. flatbeds are used which are long and difficult to manage in cases of narrow streets or car stuck between two vehicles. Traditional methods comprise use of large 20 manual jacks with heavy vehicle assistance. Moreover it requires lot of manpower to pull out and attach towing hook to the bumpers. High cost is also matter of concern for using previously used towing mechanism.
Towing process basically requires a proper empty space to tow the car/vehicle but due to increasing vehicle density rate it is almost impossible to get sufficient space all the time. Either 25 traffic is blocked or damage is done thereby creating lots of inconvenience to the passers-by. There is always a need to get a compact system for car towing which can easily move the car even from the crowded area.
3
The present invention provides solution to all the above mentioned problems by suggesting a motorbike assisted towing trolley for four wheelers.
The present invention provides an easy mechanism for towing which does not require bumper lifting or large supporting vehicles. It provides a simple and compact towing system comprising pistons, wheel axis, electromagnetic jacks, electromagnetic frames, towing frames and 5 removable blocks. This towing mechanism is further attached to a motorbike with the help of towing frame. The tow trolley is moved below the car and then piston automatically works as a jack without use of any external effort. Electromagnetic frames gets activated via the power of battery provided with the motorbike. These frames hold the car tightly while towing it from one place to another. 10
Minimizing the manual effort and providing a compact system/mechanism of towing, the present invention brings an easy and cost-effective solution to the several towing related pitfalls.
Problems in existing towing mechanisms
The existing mechanisms are difficult to use as they are very heavy systems and also it requires more man force or crane mechanism for towing the vehicle. 15
The crane mechanism if used requires a hook that has to be placed in the four wheeler bumper that can damage the bumper of four-wheeler.
The towing mechanisms are difficult to carry and are very costly.
Innovative approach proposed by the inventor 20
The present invention provides an easy mechanism for towing that does not require bumper lifting or large supporting vehicles. It provides a simple and compact towing system comprising pistons, wheel axis, electromagnetic jacks, electromagnetic frames, towing frames and removable block. The towing mechanism being compact and lighter in weight, so minimizes the manual effort thus can be handled by a single user only and is also cheaper in cost. 25

10
The motorbike assisted towing trolley for four-wheeler comprises of a towing trolley (12) that consists of a wheel axle (1) having two tyres (2) that drives the trolley. An electromagnetic jack (4) is fixed on the wheel axle (1) on a cylinder piston arrangement (3) that provides sliding action to jack for adjustment of electromagnetic plate (5) below the four-wheeler.
The electromagnetic jack (4) initially lifts the four wheeler and is then transferred on to two 15 electromagnetic frames (6) that holds the four wheeler. A removable block (8) is provided below the cylinder piston arrangement (3) that supports the pistons while lifting the four-wheeler.
A battery (9) is placed on the motorbike (11) that connects to the electromagnetic jack (4) and electromagnetic frame (6) through wires (10) for providing the electromagnetic effect.
20 The towing trolley (12) is then attached to motorbike (11) using towing frame (7) and thus the four-wheeler can be taken to desired destination.
Working of the present invention:
1- As one wants to tow a four-wheeler which is damaged or standing in no parking. The towing trolley (12) is taken to the front of that four wheeler and is dragged under it. 25
2- The trolley is now connected to the battery (9) for providing power to the electromagnetic jack and electromagnetic frame.
13
3- The electromagnet of the jack is turned on and then the electromagnetic jack (4) is opened manually which is placed on the cylinder piston arrangement (3).
4- A removable block (8) is provided below the piston for support that can carry the load. The pistons allows sliding mechanism of electromagnetic jack (4) for adjusting the electromagnetic plate (5) at right place below the four wheeler. 5
5- Now, as electromagnetic jack (4) opens, the electromagnetic plate (5) that is on top of electromagnetic jack, attaches to the four wheeler that leads to lifting of the four-wheeler.
6- The electromagnetic jack (4) is slowly lowered and the weight of the four-wheeler is transferred on to the electromagnetic frames (6).
7- The four-wheeler is completely in contact with electromagnetic frames (6) that does not 10 allows any vibration and slipping of the four-wheeler.
8- The trolley is now joined to the motorbike (11) using a towing frame (7) and thus four wheeler can be taken to any desired destination.
Novelty The novelty of the present invention lies in developing a motorbike assisted towing trolley for 15 four-wheelers that is compact and easy to use. The trolley is so designed that it is joined to a motorbike so that the four-wheeler can be easily towed away by a single person. Thus reduces heavy machinery and man power that were earlier required to tow a four-wheeler.
Inventive step
The inventor of the present invention has overcome the problem of requirement of heavy 20 machinery such as a crane to lift the four wheeler by developing a motorbike assisted towing trolley that consists of a wheel axle on which an electromagnetic jack is mounted. An electromagnetic jack lifts the four-wheeler manually and places it on an electromagnetic frame provided on the wheel axle. The trolley is then joined to a motorbike and the four-wheeler can be taken to the desired destination. The second problem of existing towing trolley requiring more 25 manpower to lift the four wheeler and is also solved due to the use of electromagnetic jack for lifting the four wheeler. Therefore only the person riding the motorbike can tow the vehicle easily.
14
Industrial application
The motorbike assisted towing trolley find its application in police services to tow a wrongly parked vehicle. This will help in towing the four-wheeler easily by a single user. Earlier for which a recovery van with crane mechanism was used.
