Abstract: Power screws are used to convert rotary motion into translatory motion. A screw jack is an example of a power screw in which a small force applied in a Horizontal plane is used to raise and lower a large load. The principle on which it works is similar to that of an inclined plane. The effort required to rotate the screw can be eliminated by using 12V DC Motor to rotated screw of jack, which facilitate in easy replacement of tyre. This system has advantage of that it draws the energy from the battery of vehicle and also the torque generated from the motor shaft. The Mechanical advantage of a screw jack is the ratio of the load applied to the effort applied. It is also used to replacement of vehicle components or repairing work in the vehicles. 1.INTRODUCTION TO THE INVENTION:
The reason behind this work is to reduce manual work. The effort required to rotate the screw can be eliminated by using 12V DC Motor to rotated screw of jack, which facilitate in easy replacement of tyre and replacement of vehicle components.
2.DETAILED DESCRIPTION :
The shaft is connected to the DC motor. Switch ON the DC motor and the power is transmitted to shaft. It rotates the lead screw and the lead screw moves towards left and right. So, the platform is moved upwards by the use of levers. The weight is lifted and the purpose of lifting is done.
Then the DC motor is made to rotate in reverse direction using toggle switch. So, the nut moves away and the levers lower down the platform bringing the load to the original position. This equipment we can easily lift the load as per our need without fatigue. As lead screw and nut is used, the nut does not move due to load even if the motor stops rotating. Thus it acts as a self locking system and no separate locking device is required.

3.PARTS USED:
The following are the parts used for the automated adjustable head lamp in two wheelers
1. Battery
2. Toggle switch
3. Dc Wiper Motor
4. Lead Screw
5. Scissor Arms
3.1 BATTERY:
12V lead acid battery to provide power supply to the system which is the internal unit of the system. The battery is connected to the motor through the toggle switch.
3.2 TOGGLE SWITCH:
A toggle switch is a switch is used to change the direction of the current which is used to change the direction of the motor in both forward and reverse to make the jack lift upwards and downwards.
3.3 DC WIPER MOTOR:
The wiper motor is connected to the toggle switch and the motor operates forward and backward. The working voltage of the motor is 12V and it rotates the lead screw and the lead screw moves towards left and right.
3.4 LEAD SCREW
A lead screw also known as a power screw or translation screw is a screw used as a linkage in a machine, to translate turning motion into linear motion. Lead screw is fixed into the middle place of the two scissor arms.
3.5 SCISSOR ARMS
The scissor arms are connected to each other and form a diamond shape. The two arms are connected with the platform and base plate. Scissor arms are coupled to each other by using the riveted joints. The arms are element to raise and lower the position while it is working; also it is adjustable and easily maintained.

5. NOVEL FEATURE OF THE CURRENT INVENTION
The system is to reduce manual work. The effort required to rotate the screw can be eliminated by using 12V DC Motor to rotated screw of jack, which facilitate in easy replacement of tyre and replacement of vehicle components. The equipment's cost is low.
6. ADVANTAGES
• It is also used to lift the vehicle when breakdown is occurs.
• It is used to lift the loads and transverse the loads in industries.
• It is used as material handling equipment in automobile industries.
• Man power requirement is less.
7. APPLICATIONS OF INNOVATION:
This type of technique is applicable to all types of vehicles to reduce the human work. The effort required to rotate the screw can be eliminated by providing the DC Motor.
In normal system we need to manually rotate the lead screw but in this technique load lifting and lowering is automatically adjusted while we control the DC motor.
