The following Specification particularly describes and ascertains the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed :-

This invention relates to a Process for preparing herbal feed additive, which is a Ayurvedic herbal formulation for improving quality and quantity of milk, produced by milch animals, like cows and buffaloes.
Nutrients ingested by the ruminant animals are partitioned in the body for various physiological functions, such as body maintenance, growth, fattening, milk production. Diversion of nutrients for milk synthesis is usually the last priority, fattening being ahead of milk synthesis.
Scientists world over have tried to formulate various additive, including hormonal preparation, which are reported to increase milk yield. Not only these preparations are uneconomical to use, but also have side effects on the health of animals and human beings consuming milk from such animals.
The objective of present innovation is to provide a herbal formulation for use in milch animals, which helps diverting nutrients in the udder for milk synthesis and thereby, improve milk and fat production.
Since ancient times, many ayurvedic preparations are known to contain lactogenic property which help in augmenting synthesis of milk, without putting an extra burden on the animal system. Some of these herbs are Asparagus racemosus, Impmosa peniculata, Leptadenis reticulate, which are reported to contain galactogouge properties. Some times, these herbs are used in the rural areas by the farmers for increasing milk production in their animals.
A process for preparation of herbal feed additive of this invention is simple and uses various herbs having lactogenic properties, along with some other supporting herbs, and the formulation produced by the process of this invention diverts feed nutrients to udder for milk synthesis and improve feed palatability and digestibility.
Th Herbal Feed Additive contains following ingredients:-
Zh giber officinale 25%
Ad Is racemosus 15%
Lepidium sativum 15%
Fregonella faunm 10%
Ptychotis ajowan 10%
Accium sativum 10%
Anacycus pyrethrum 5%
Anaqua sodichlordum 9%
Ficus rligiosa 0.5%
Myristica officialis 0.5%
This formulation has the direct impact on the feed conversion efficiency for milk, palatability of the feed, with no side effect of any kind on the health of the animals. The milk produced from the animals do not contain toxins or residues which could be harmful to the human beings.

PROCESS:-
Zingiber officinale(a) a Adds racemosus (b) mixe and grinding in there respective composition and keep it for '4 hours & than mixed with mixture of Fregonella faunm (d), Anacycus pyrcthrum (g), Anaqua sodichlordum (h), Ficus rligiosa (i) with their respective praportin & keep if for 8-10 hours and then it is mixed with Ftychotis ajowan(e) it is mix with f+j ( Accium sativum+ Myristica ofllcialis) and then c respectively so that we find the herbal feed additive for increasing milk & Fat % of milk in laclating animals. The process of mixing is very important because without mixing in these ratio it is not effective.
A PROCESS FOR PREPARING HERBAL FEED ADDITIVE FOR MILCH ANIMALS is shown in the block diagram.

Process of preparing herbal feed additive for milch animals comprises the following steps;
a) mixing Zingiber officinale 25% by weight and Adds racemosus 1 5% by weight and grinding to a mesh size of 50-60;and drying at room temperature for 24 hours;
b) mixing Fregonella faunm 10%, Anacycus pyrethrum 5%, Anaqua sodichlordum 9%, Ficus rligiosa 0.5% by weight and grinding to mesh size 50-60, drying at room temperature for 8-10 hours.
c) Mixing the mixtures of step a and b;
d) Mixing Ptychotis ajowan 10% by weight; to the mixture of step c;
e) Mixing Accium sativum 10% by weight myristica officialis 0.5% by weight and mixing with mixtures of step (d)
f) Mixing Lepidium sativum 15% by weight with mixtures of step e) to obtain herbal feed additive.
The herbal feed additive produced by the process of this invention has been tested and found very useful for increasing milk yield and payability of feed without disturbing physiology of animals in any manner.
