FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention generally relate to a two wheeled vehicle having a mounting bracket for multiple purpose and more particularly to a step through vehicle having a mounting bracket for multiple purpose.

BACKGROUND
Generally in step through vehicles air filter is mounted on the down tube behind the front suspension and below fuel tank which results in a complicated packaging and that leads to servicing difficulties of air filter as well as the carburettor. Servicing of the carburettor is possible only by removing fuel tank with the above mentioned layout and packaging. Further in some known arrangements, air filter is secured on front side of vehicle frame in single plane causing air filter to swing down which is also not reliable. Hence there is a need to address the above mentioned problem associated with step through vehicles having fuel tank mounted on the front.

SUMMARY

Main objective of the present invention is to provide a two wheeled vehicle having a frame, a mounting bracket characterised by its multiple mounting ability and stability, an air filter and a front guard structure secured on front side of frame such that said mounting bracket is fixed with upper part of said air filter and a secondary mounting structure is holding lower part of said air filter and front guard member, and a carburettor unit fixed with the front frame structure, is secured neighbouring air filter and the front guard structure. Said mounting bracket has multiple vertical sides with mounting holes and a horizontal side having mounting holes and is fixed with the front frame member and the head pipe by fastening members.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The embodiments disclosed below are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed in the following detailed description. Rather, the embodiments are chosen and described for enablement purpose of the invention. The invention may have application to all types of vehicles. The scope of the invention is entirely based upon the claims provided.
Reference is made to Figures 1 to Figure 5, provided for description of arrangement of embodiments in step through vehicle. A mounting bracket 108 is secured at the joint of the head pipe 101 and the front frame member 109 of the vehicle such that the vertical sides 111 of said bracket 108 arrest said joint of the head pipe 101 and the front frame member 109F on both sides (left and right) of the vehicle and the horizontal part 112 remains on lower side of said bracket 108. A secondary mounting structure 105 is fixed on the lower side of the front frame member 109F.

An air filter 103 is secured on front side of the front frame member 109F such that its upper portion is fixed with the mounting bracket 108 through mounting arrangements 104 on vertical side 111 of the bracket 108, on both sides of the frame 109. Further lower portion of the air filter is fixed with the secondary mounting structure 105 on the lower front side of the front frame member 109F. Described arrangement of the air filter 103 mounting ensures no swinging and minimum rattling in said air filter 103.
Further, a front guard member 106 is fixed into the mounting bracket 102 on upper side through the mounting arrangement 100 on horizontal side 112 of said mounting bracket 108 and to the secondary mounting structure 105 on lower side of the front frame member 109F such that said front guard member 106 is extending in width wise direction of the vehicle on both side (left and right side of the vehicle). A carburettor unit 110 is secured neighbouring the air filter 103 such that in case of removal or replacement or servicing of said carburettor unit 110 removal of front guard member 106 and the air filter 103 will be sufficient and hence the servicing will be easier due to less compact and convenient packaging.

Also, above discussed arrangement facilitates a lesser compact packaging of the air filter 103 and hence serviceability of said air filter unit 103 is easier as air filter 103 is reachable just by removing front guard member 106 from the mounting bracket 108.

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS

1)A mounting bracket for a two wheeled vehicle, characterised by its multiple mounting ability and stability, comprising a plurality of vertical sides spaced with at least one horizontal side such that said plurality of vertical sides has at least one mounting arrangement and said horizontal side has atleast one mounting arrangement wherein the mounting bracket is fixed with the front frame member and the head pipe through atleast one fastening member.

2) The mounting bracket as claimed in claim 1, wherein, an air filter secured on front frame member such that said mounting bracket is fixed with upper part of said air filter and a secondary mounting arrangement is holding lower part of the air filter.

3) The mounting bracket as claimed in claim 2, wherein, a front guard structure secured on front side of the front frame member such that the mounting bracket and the secondary mounting arrangement is holding said front guard structure from upper and lower side.

4) The mounting bracket as claimed in claim 3, wherein, a carburettor unit is secured neighbouring air filter and the front guard structure and is fixed with the front frame structure.

5) A two wheeled vehicle comprising:

a frame structure defined by a head pipe fixed on top of a front frame structure extended downwards followed by a backward extension joined with a rear frame structure defined by an inclined upward extension followed by a rearward extension; and

a mounting bracket, characterised by its multiple mounting ability and stability, comprises a plurality of vertical sides spaced with at least one horizontal side such that said plurality of vertical sides has at least one mounting arrangement and said horizontal side has atleast one mounting arrangement;
wherein, the mounting bracket is fixed with the front frame member and the head pipe by fastening members.

6) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 5, an air filter secured on front frame member such that said mounting bracket is fixed with upper part of said air filter and a secondary mounting arrangement is holding lower part of the air filter.

7) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 6, wherein a front guard structure secured on front side of the front frame member such that the mounting bracket and the secondary mounting arrangement is holding said front guard structure from upper and lower side.

8) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 6, wherein a carburettor unit is secured neighbouring air filter and the front guard structure and is fixed with the front frame structure.
