DESC:CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[001] This application is based on and derives the benefit of Indian Provisional Application 201741011828, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
TECHNICAL FIELD
[002] The embodiments herein relate to a mounting arrangement and a method for mounting a sunshade hook to a door roll frame (door sash) of a vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[003] A sunshade arrangement in a vehicle includes a retractable sunshade which is used to shade a window to avoid direct sun rays inside the vehicle to provide comfort to the occupants in the vehicle. The sunshade is attached to a door roll frame (door sash) through a sunshade hook. The sunshade hook is used to load the sunshade during application. Conventional vehicles have sunshade hook mounted to amounting bracket, which requires drilling and fastening on door roll frame (door sash). Mounting the bracket requires a hole to be drilled to door sash section thereby weakening the part and creating more variant of the parent part. More number of parts are required as mounting bracket requires additional fasteners. Mounting bracket needs additional tooling for bracket. The bracket is mounted with the screws by drilling on door roll frame which results in burr issues and further resulting into corrosion.
[004] Therefore, there exists a need for a mounting arrangement and a method for mounting a sunshade hook to a door roll frame of a vehicle, which obviates the aforementioned drawbacks.
OBJECTS
[005] The principal object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide a mounting arrangement for mounting a sunshade hook to a door roll frame (door sash) of a vehicle.
[006] Another object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide a method for mounting a sunshade hook to a door roll frame of a vehicle.

Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.
[0016] The embodiments herein achieve amounting arrangement and a method for mounting a sunshade hook to a door roll frame of a vehicle. Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to Figs. 1 through 6, where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown embodiments.
[0017] Fig. 1 depicts a partial perspective view of a mounting arrangement 100connected to a door roll frame D of a vehicle for mounting a sunshade hook 10, according to an embodiment of the invention as disclosed herein. Fig. 2 depicts a partial side view of the door roll frame, the mounting arrangement 100, the sunshade hook 10 and a cover C, according to an embodiment of the invention as disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the mounting arrangement 100 is used for mounting the sunshade hook 10 to the door roll frame D (as shown in fig. 2 and fig. 5) of the vehicle. In an embodiment, the mounting arrangement 100 includes a plurality of mounting members 102 (as shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3).For the purpose of this description and ease of understanding, the mounting arrangement 100 is explained herein below with reference to be connected to a door roll frame D (door sash) of a side door in a vehicle for mounting sunshade hook 10. However, it is also within the scope of the invention to implement/practice the mounting arrangement 100 in any other door of the vehicle without otherwise deterring the intended function of the mounting arrangement 100 as can be deduced from the description and corresponding drawings.
[0018] Each mounting member 102 is used to mount the sunshade hook 10. Each mounting member 102 has a head 102h (as shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3) and a body 102b (as shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3). The head 102h of each mounting member 102 is engaged with corresponding mounting member head receiving portion 10h (as shown in fig. 2 and fig. 4) of the sunshade hook 10 to fix the sunshade hook 10 thereon to mount the sunshade hook 10 to the door roll frame D. In an embodiment, the head 102h of each mounting member 102 is at least one of a stepped head and a flat head. It is also within the scope of the invention top provide the head 102h of each mounting member 102 in any other shape without otherwise deterring the intended function of the mounting member 102 as can be deduced from the description and corresponding drawings. The body 102b of each mounting member 102 is adapted to extend from the head 102h in a direction towards the door roll frame D. One end of the body 102b of each mounting member 102 is connected to the door roll frame D, where the door roll frame D is also called as door sash. Each mounting member 102 is spaced away from the other and is parallel to the other. The plurality of mounting members 102 is adapted to be covered by a cover C when the plurality of mounting members 102 and the sunshade hook 10 are in assembled position. Each mounting member 102 is at least a T-stud.
[0019] The sunshade hook 10 is used to secure a sunshade S (as shown in fig. 5) at an extended position or deployed position. The sunshade hook 10 is a J shaped hook. The cover C is used to cover the plurality of mounting members 102 when the sunshade hook 10 is at a mounted position.
[0020] Fig. 6 flowchart showing the steps of a method 200 for mounting a sunshade hook 10 to a door roll frame D of the vehicle, according to an embodiment of the invention as disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the method 200 for mounting the sunshade hook 10 to the door roll frame D of the vehicle is as follows, providing at least one mounting member 102 having a head 102h and a body 102b extending from the head 102h (step 202); connecting one end of the body 102b of the mounting member 102 to the door roll frame D (step 204); and fixing the sunshade hook 10 to the mounting member 102 to mount the sunshade hook 10J to the door roll frame D by engaging a corresponding at least one mounting member head receiving portion 10h of the sunshade hook 10 with the head 102h of the mounting member 102 (step 206).
[0021] Therefore, a mounting arrangement 100 and a method 200 for mounting a sunshade hook 10 to a door roll frame D (door sash) of a vehicle is provided.
[0022] The foregoing description of the specific embodiments will so fully reveal the general nature of the embodiments herein that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily modify and/or adapt for various applications such specific embodiments without departing from the generic concept, and, therefore, such adaptations and modifications should and are intended to be comprehended within the meaning and range of equivalents of the disclosed embodiments. It is to be understood that the phraseology or terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation.
