Specification

DESC:The present disclosure relates to the field of mechanical engineering. In particular, the present disclosure relates to mounting structures for mounting of registration plates.
BACKGROUND
The front bumper of a vehicle is the foremost component that is fitted onto the front panel of the vehicle. Bulky front bumpers are required for some vehicles such as off-road vehicles. These bumpers are required to be mounted centrally on the front panel of a vehicle for efficient and uniform distribution of load of the front bumper along the front panel of the vehicle. However, due to poor accessibility, the mounting of the front bumper onto the front panel of the vehicle, from the engine side is difficult. Moreover, when the front bumper is mounted on the front panel of the vehicle from the operative front side, the mounting bolts are visible, which look unaesthetic.
Furthermore, registration plate is generally mounted on the front bumper of vehicles. During the maintenance of a vehicle, generally, the registration plate has to be detached from the front bumper to facilitate disassembly of the front bumper from the front panel of the vehicle. This is not desired as it is a requirement for the registration plate to not be detached as it is a tamper proof registration plate.
Hence, there is a need for a mounting structure for registration plate that provides ease of access during mounting of the front bumper on the front panel of the vehicle, along with eliminating the need for detaching the registration plate from the front bumper during the maintenance of a vehicle.
OBJECTS

An object of the present disclosure is to provide a mounting structure for registration plate that eliminates the need for detaching the registration plate from the front bumper during the maintenance of a vehicle.
Yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide a mounting structure for registration plate that looks aesthetic.
Other objects and advantages of the present disclosure will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
SUMMARY
The present disclosure envisages a mounting structure for registration plate. The mounting structure includes a base plate and a cover plate. The base plate has a first central opening configured thereon, and a plurality of bosses configured at an operative rear face of the base plate. The plurality of bosses facilitates welding of the base plate to a bumper of a vehicle. The cover plate is hingeably coupled with the base plate. The base plate has a second central opening configured thereon, wherein the second central opening aligns with the first central opening to provide access to a tool for mounting and dismounting of the bumper.
