3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the multi point actuation (MPA) of controller components through an integrated push button assembly. More particularly, the present invention relates to an integrated push button assembly viz. multi point actuating knob adapted to actuate the start contact of the switchgear component and a separate add-on block simultaneously.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION
US 7,306,265 discloses a panel-mountable push button actuator assembly for operating a latch or other apparatus having a link, trigger or other operating element that must move a short distance includes a housing having a front portion configured to be inserted through a panel opening from the rear side of the panel, and a generally annular retaining cap that is releasably connected to the front portion of the housing to hold the housing in the panel opening. The cap preferably is held in its installed position on the housing by a compressed foam rubber washer that provides a seal between the cap and the panel. Also disclosed are an O-ring seal that optionally may be interposed between a push button of the actuator assembly and the housing, and a rigidified cam that may be used with the present and other types of push button actuator assemblies to engage and move a link, trigger or other operating element in response to depression of the push button.
The problem occurring during actuation of 'NO" contacts of switchgear component and ADD-ON block with single button is the main concern of the prior art.
Thus there is a need to solve the problem occurring during actuation of ;NO; contacts of switchgear component and ADD-ON block with single button.

The present inventors have found a single integrated push button for actuation of three different contacts to eliminate the drawbacks faced in the prior art.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
One object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages / drawbacks of the prior art.
A basic object of the present invention is to provide a single integrated push button for actuation of three different contacts.
Another object of the present invention is to provide single integrated push button in which the contacts placed at different height can be operated by suitably changing the height of the plugs.
These and other advantages of the present invention will become readily apparent from the following detailed description read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The following presents a simplified summary of the invention in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the invention. This summary is not an extensive overview of the present invention. It is not intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention or to delineate the scope of the invention. Its sole purpose is to present some concept of the invention in a simplified form as a prelude to a more detailed description of the invention presented later.
According to one aspect of the present invention there is provided a multi-point actuation assembly for use in switchgears for actuation of multiple contacts, said assembly comprising : a housing;

a guiding means mounted on the said housing;
plural plug means engaged with actuating means located on the said housing
whereby said plurality of plug means are movable corresponding to the pressing
of said actuating means
wherein on pressing of said actuating means said plurality of plug means actuates
multiple contacts simultaneously.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to Multi Point Actuation (MPA) knob having a single integrated push button for actuation of three different contacts. The invention is adapted for operating the three actuators with single push button assembly.
The assembly is capable of actuating both the 'NO' contacts simultaneously with single push button so that during starting of the motor the start contact and ADDON block carrying starting current can be close simultaneously with single actuator for desirable time period.
Once the starting inertia is achieved by motor the start capacitor can be removed from circuit by releasing the push button which will open the 'NO' contact of the ADD-ON block.
Also the assembly includes an additional push button for the purpose of switching 'OFF' the controller by actuating the stop contact of the switchgear component. Hence in all three contacts can be operated with single push button assembly.
The invention can be used in a controller for starting of single phase submersible motor. The motor can be switched 'ON' by pressing start contact (NO) of the switchgear component by pressing a button on the integrated push button. The controller can be switched 'OFF" by pressing the respective button on the

integrated push button. The Multi Point Actuating (MPA) knob comprising integrated push button is mounted on the cover of the controller.
Features of the Multi Point Actuating (MPA) knob:
The invention uses a single integrated push button for actuation of three different contacts hence named Multi Point Actuation (MPA) knob.
Also, the contacts placed at different height can be operated with single integrated push button by suitably changing the height of the plugs.
Simple and robust design- possibility of interference/inter locking between the plugs does not exist.
Round cross section ensures high reliability- possibility of sticking does not exist.
Guide is provided for pin point actuation which will also ensure the non rotating movement of both the plugs.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWING
Other features as well as the advantages of the invention will be clear from the
following description. In the appended drawing:
Fig 1 illustrates detailed isometric view showing arrangements plug, dual plug and guide with the housing.
Pig 2 illustrates detailed isometric view showing whole integrated push button and housing mounted on the cover of the controller.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWING
In the following detailed description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings that form a part hereof, and illustrate the best mode presently contemplated for carrying out the invention. Further functioning of the mechanism has been discussed below to describe the way the mechanism operates. However, such description should not be considered as any limitation of scope of the present unit. The structure thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all the details may furthermore be replaced with elements having technical equivalence. In practice the materials and dimensions may be any according to the requirements, which will still be comprised within its true spirit.
The integrated push button consists of two plugs 3 and 4 are made engaged with push button 2 and 1 respectively as shown in fig 1. The guide 5 is mounted on housing 6. further the complete assembly is mounted on the cover of the controller 7 as shown in fig 2.
When the push button 1 is pressed the dual plug 4 will actuate the start contact (NO) of switchgear component and ADD-ON block simultaneously. For the submersible motor to gain sufficient inertia it takes 8-10 seconds. Hence till the time the dual plug 4 will keep the 'NO' of switchgear component and ADD-ON block close. The function of the guide 5 is to keep the movement of the plugs 3 & 4 in vertical direction without deviation, on pressing the button 1. On pressing button 2 the guide 3 opens the stop contact (NC) of the switchgear component in order to switch 'OFF' the controller.
Hence with the single integrated push button total three actuators can be operated
viz. start (NO) contact, 'NO' contact of the ADD-ON block and stop (NC) contact.
