Abstract: A multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus (100), comprising: a lower case (102) to keep a laptop; an upper case (106) attached to the lower case (102) through an attachment means (108), and is closed to cover the laptop, wherein an inner surface (104) of the lower case (102) and an inner surface (110) of the upper case (106) are fabricated with cushioning material; air vent perforations (114a-114n) provided on an outer surface of the upper case (106) to enable air to pass through to avoid overheating of the laptop placed on the upper case (106), when the apparatus (100) is used as a laptop stand; slots (118a-118m) provided on both sides of the lower case (102); and a foldable strip (120) provided on the upper case (106), and inserted in one of, the slots (118a-118m) from the both sides to adjust a height of the upper case (106).

Description:BACKGROUND
Field of the invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a laptop carrying apparatus and particularly to a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus that is designed to act as a laptop bag as well as a laptop stand.
Description of Related Art
[002] Laptops have been used by users for various activities such as, for office work, for watching videos, for playing games, and so forth. Manufacturers have designed various accessories for the laptops such as, laptop stands, laptop bags, and so forth. The laptop bags provide an ease to the user to carry the laptops from one location to another location. However, many a times, the laptop gets broken due to sudden impact on the laptop bag while travelling in crowded places.
[003] Further, the laptop stand improves a posture of the user while working on the laptop. However, the users need to carry the laptop stand separately along with the laptop bag, if the user needs to travel to some place with the laptop. This can be a tedious task as sometimes the users forget to carry the laptop stand with them. To overcome the aforementioned issues, some laptop bags have been designed with the laptop stand. However, such bags are bulky and does not provide a provision of setting the laptop stand at various heights and at different angles.
[004] There is thus a need for an improved and advanced multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus that can administer the aforementioned issues in a more efficient manner.
SUMMARY
[005] Embodiments in accordance with the present invention provide a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus. The laptop carrying apparatus comprising: a lower case having an inner surface to keep a laptop. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: an upper case attached to the lower case through an attachment means. The upper case is adapted to be closed to cover the laptop placed in the lower case, wherein the inner surface of the lower case and an inner surface of the upper case are fabricated with a cushioning material to prevent the laptop placed in the lower case from any accidental scratch when the laptop carrying apparatus is used as a laptop bag. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: air vent perforations provided on an outer surface of the upper case to enable air to pass through and improve ventilation to avoid overheating of the laptop placed on the outer surface of the upper case, when the laptop carrying apparatus is used as a laptop stand. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: slots provided on both sides of the lower case. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: a foldable strip provided on the upper case. The foldable strip is inserted in one of, the slots from the both sides of the lower case to adjust a height and an angle of the upper case, when the laptop carrying apparatus is used as the laptop stand.
[006] Embodiments in accordance with the present invention further provide a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus. The laptop carrying apparatus comprising: a lower case having an inner surface to keep a laptop. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: an upper case attached to the lower case through an attachment means. The upper case is adapted to be closed to cover the laptop placed in the lower case, wherein the inner surface of the lower case and an inner surface of the upper case are fabricated with a cushioning material to prevent the laptop placed in the lower case from any accidental scratch when the laptop carrying apparatus is used as a laptop bag. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising a locking means provided at the upper case to enable a user to lock or unlock the upper case. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: air vent perforations provided on an outer surface of the upper case to enable air to pass through and improve ventilation to avoid overheating of the laptop placed on the outer surface of the upper case, when the laptop carrying apparatus is used as a laptop stand. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: slots provided on both sides of the lower case. The laptop carrying apparatus further comprising: a foldable strip provided on the upper case, wherein the foldable strip is inserted in one of, the slots from the both sides of the lower case to adjust a height and an angle of the upper case, when the laptop carrying apparatus is used as the laptop stand.
[007] Embodiments of the present invention may provide a number of advantages depending on its particular configuration. First, embodiments of the present application may provide a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus that may be designed to act as a laptop bag as well as a laptop stand.
[008] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus that is light weight as it is made of tough and cheaper material such as, ABS or polycarbonate.
[009] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus that is fabricated with a cushioning material from inside to prevent a laptop from getting any scratch.
[0010] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus that is provided with a handle to enable a user to carry a laptop from a first location to a second location.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may be designed to work as a laptop bag as well as a laptop stand. The laptop carrying apparatus 100 may be designed to be used as the laptop bag when a user wants to carry a laptop from a first location to a second location, in an embodiment of the present invention. In another embodiment of the present invention, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may be designed to be used as the laptop stand when the user wants to work on the laptop.
[0023] In an embodiment of the present invention, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may be made up of a light weight and a cheaper material such as, a plastic material. The plastic material may be, but not limited to, polycarbonate, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), and so forth. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the material of the laptop carrying apparatus 100 including known related art and/or later developed technologies.

[0025] In an embodiment of the present invention, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may comprise a lower case 102 that may be designed to keep the laptop. In an embodiment of the present invention, an inner surface 104 of the lower case 102 may be fabricated with a cushioning material to prevent the laptop from any accidental scratch when the laptop is placed in the lower case 102. The cushioning material may be, but not limited to, polystyrene foam, polyethylene foam, polyurethane foam, and so forth. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the cushioning material including known related art and/or later developed technologies.
[0026] Further, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may comprise an upper case 106 that may be fixedly attached to the lower case 102, in an embodiment of present invention. In another embodiment of the present invention, the upper case 106 may be removably attached to the lower case 102. The upper case 106 may be attached to the lower case 102 through an attachment means 108, in an embodiment of the present invention. The attachment means 108 may be hinges that may be capable to attach the upper case 106 to the lower case 102 of the laptop carrying apparatus 100, in an embodiment of the present invention.
[0027] The upper case 106 may be opened by the user to place the laptop in the lower case 102, in an embodiment of the present invention. In another embodiment of the present invention, the upper case 106 may be closed by the user to cover the laptop placed in the lower case 102.
[0028] FIG. 1B illustrates a front view of the laptop carrying apparatus 100, according to an embodiment of the present invention. In an embodiment of the present invention, an inner surface 110 of the upper case 106 may be fabricated with the cushioning material to prevent the laptop from any accidental scratch when the laptop placed in the lower case 102 is covered with the upper case 106. The cushioning material may be, but not limited to, the polystyrene foam, the polyethylene foam, the polyurethane foam, and so forth. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the cushioning material including known related art and/or later developed technologies.
[0029] Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may comprise a locking means 112 provided at the upper case 106 to enable the user to lock or unlock the upper case 106.
[0030] The locking means 112 may lock the closed position of the upper case 106, in an embodiment of the present invention. The closed position of the upper case 106 may be locked to prevent the laptop from falling when the laptop is placed in the lower case 102, in an embodiment of the present invention. Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the locking means 112 may be unlocked to open the upper case 106 for removing the laptop placed in the lower case 102.
[0031] FIG. 1C illustrates a top view of the laptop carrying apparatus 100, according to an embodiment of the present invention. In an embodiment of the present invention, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may comprise air vent perforations 114a-114n (hereinafter referred to as the air vents 114) designed on an outer surface of the upper case 106 of the laptop carrying apparatus 100. The air vent perforations 114 may be provided to enable air to pass through and improve ventilation, in an embodiment of the present invention. The air vent perforations 114 may be designed to avoid overheating of the laptop when the laptop is placed over the upper case 106 to utilize the laptop carrying apparatus 100 as the laptop stand, in an embodiment of the present invention. The air vent perforations 114 may be of any shape such as, but not limited to, a square shape, a round shape, an oval shape, and so forth. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any shape of the air vent perforations 114, including known, related art, and/or later developed technologies.
[0032] The laptop carrying apparatus 100 may comprise a handle 116 that may be fixedly attached to a top surface of the lower case 102, in an embodiment of the present invention. In another embodiment of the present invention, the handle 116 may be removably attached to the top surface of the lower case 102. The handle 116 may be designed to be gripper by the user to carry the laptop from the first location to the second location, in an embodiment of the present invention. Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the handle 116 may be of any shape such as, but not limited to, a U-shape, a square shape, and so forth. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any shape of the handle 116 that may accommodate a hand of the user, including known, related art, and/or later developed technologies.
[0033] The laptop carrying apparatus 100 may further comprise slots 118a-118m (hereinafter referred to as the slots 118) and a foldable strip 120. The slots 118 may be provided on both sides of the lower case 102, in an embodiment of the present invention. The slots 118 on both sides of the lower case 102 may be designed at a pre-defined distance from each other, and capable to receive the foldable strip 120 to set the upper case 106 at different height and at different angle. In an exemplary scenario, the user may insert the foldable strip 120 in a first slot of the slots 118 from both sides of the lower case 102, to set a maximum height of the upper case 106. In another exemplary scenario, the user may insert the foldable strip 120 in a last slot of the slots 118 from both sides of the lower case 102, to set a minimum height of the upper case 106.
[0034] The foldable strip 120 may be attached to the upper case 106, and inserted in one of, the slots 118 from the both sides of the lower case 102 to adjust the height of the upper case 106, when the laptop carrying apparatus 100 is used as the laptop stand. In an embodiment of the present invention, the increased height of the upper case 106 may tilt the laptop forward and creates a comfortable angle for the user to read or type.
[0035] The laptop carrying apparatus 100 may further comprise a slippage support 122 that may be designed at the outer surface of the upper case 106, in an embodiment of the present invention. In an embodiment of the present invention, the slippage support 122 may prevent the laptop from slipping down from the upper case 106 when the laptop is placed on the upper case 106 and the laptop carrying apparatus 100 is used as the laptop stand. In other words, the slippage support 122 may provide stability to the laptop on the upper case 106.
[0036] FIG. 2 illustrates a flowchart of a method 200 of manufacturing the laptop carrying apparatus 100, according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0037] At step 202, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may be provided with the lower case 102 and the upper case 106, wherein the inner surface 104 of the lower case 102 and the inner surface 110 of the upper case 106 may be fabricated with the cushioning material to prevent the laptop from any accidental scratch when the laptop carrying apparatus 100 is used as the laptop bag.
[0038] At step 204, the laptop carrying apparatus 100 may be provided with the locking means 112 arranged at the upper case 106 to lock the closed position of the upper case 106.

1. A multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus (100), the laptop carrying apparatus (100) comprising:
a lower case (102) having an inner surface (104) to keep a laptop;
an upper case (106) attached to the lower case (102) through an attachment means (108), wherein the upper case (106) is adapted to be closed to cover the laptop placed in the lower case (102), wherein the inner surface (104) of the lower case (102) and an inner surface (110) of the upper case (106) are fabricated with a cushioning material to prevent the laptop placed in the lower case (102) from any accidental scratch when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as a laptop bag;
air vent perforations (114a-114n) provided on an outer surface of the upper case (106) to enable air to pass through and improve ventilation to avoid overheating of the laptop placed on the upper case (106), when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as a laptop stand;
slots (118a-118m) provided on both sides of the lower case (102); and
a foldable strip (120) provided on the upper case (106), wherein the foldable strip (120) is inserted in one of, the slots (118a-118m) from both sides of the lower case (102) to adjust a height of the upper case (106), when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as the laptop stand.
2. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a locking means (112) provided at the upper case (106) to enable a user to lock or unlock the upper case (106).
3. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a handle (116) designed to be gripped by a user to carry the laptop from a first location to a second location, when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as the laptop bag.
4. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a slippage support (122) provided at an outer surface of the upper case (106), to prevent the laptop from slipping down from the upper case (106) when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as the laptop stand.
5. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is made up of a plastic material selected from one of, a polycarbonate, or an Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS).
6. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a shape of the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is rectangular.
7. A multifunctional laptop carrying apparatus (100), comprising:
a lower case (102) having an inner surface (104) to keep a laptop;
an upper case (106) attached to the lower case (102) through an attachment means (108), wherein the upper case (106) is adapted to be closed to cover the laptop placed in the lower case (102), wherein the inner surface (104) of the lower case (102) and an inner surface (110) of the upper case (106) are fabricated with a cushioning material to prevent the laptop placed in the lower case (102) from any accidental scratch when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as a laptop bag;
a locking means (112) provided at the upper case (106) to enable a user to lock or unlock the upper case (106);
air vent perforations (114a-114n) provided on an outer surface of the upper case (106) to enable air to pass through and improve ventilation to avoid overheating of the laptop placed on the upper case (106), when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as a laptop stand;
slots (118a-118m) provided on both sides of the lower case (102); and
a foldable strip (120) provided on the upper case (106), wherein the foldable strip (120) is inserted in one of, the slots (118a-118m) from the both sides of the lower case (102) to adjust a height of upper case (106), when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as the laptop stand.
8. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 7, comprising a handle (116) designed to be gripped by a user to carry the laptop from a first location to a second location, when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as the laptop bag.
9. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 7, comprising a slippage support (122) provided at an outer surface of the upper case (106), to prevent the laptop from slipping down from the upper case (106) when the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is used as the laptop stand.
10. The laptop carrying apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 7, wherein the laptop carrying apparatus (100) is made up of a plastic material selected from one of, a polycarbonate, or an Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS).
