The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed
BACKGROUND
[001] Field
[002] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to glassware holders and particularly to a multifunctional salver for holding and transporting glassware.
[003] Description of Related Art
[004] It is often desirable to carry numerous glasses and/or bottles from one location to another in one excursion to save time. Carrying more than one or two glasses is very difficult for an individual. In general, a tray is used to carry the glasses. However, glassware such as mugs, bottles, juice glasses, and alike requires more careful handling. In addition to this, it is difficult to carefully balance a flat tray for a long distance. Thus, the glassware on the tray may tip over and break if not handled carefully.
[005] Further, there are very few trays that are adapted to carry the glasses in multiple ways such as from a top of a glass and a bottom of the glass. Most of wine glass holders are limited to hold only the glassware such as, wine glasses with stems. These holders are incapable of carrying other glassware such as bottles, juice glasses, water glasses, and alike.
[006] There is thus a need for a multifunctional salver that can address the aforementioned limitations in a more efficient manner.
SUMMARY
[007] Embodiments in accordance with the present invention provide a multifunctional salver comprising: a detachable tray designed to hold by a user. The multifunctional salver further comprising: a nested structure comprising slots and a hub such that the slots are formed at outer edges of the nested structure to surround the hub. The multifunctional salver further comprising: hooks distributed on the nested structure such that the hooks enable the detachable tray to be attached over the nested structure, wherein the detachable tray and the nested structure are adapted to secure glassware.
[008] Embodiments of the present invention may provide a number of advantages depending on its particular configuration. First, embodiments of the present application provide a multifunctional salver to present glasses, especially wine glasses, in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
[009] Next, embodiments of the present application provide a multifunctional salver to handle multiple glasses and other glassware securely for an excursion to save time.
[0010] Next, embodiments of the present application provide a multifunctional salver to hold glasses in multiple ways such as from a top of the glasses and from a base of the glasses.
[0011] Next, embodiments of the present application provide a multifunctional salver that comprises a detachable tray and a nested structure to secure glasses with and/or without a stem.
[0012] Next, embodiments of the present application provide a multifunctional salver that facilitates an easy and safe carrying of glassware and can be used to display a bottle as well.
[0013] Next, embodiments of the present application provide a multifunctional salver that is capable of accommodating filled glasses and/or a bottle on a detachable tray and empty glasses with a stem on a nested structure.
[0014] These and other advantages will be apparent from the present application of the embodiments described herein.
[0015] The preceding is a simplified summary to provide an understanding of some embodiments of the present invention. This summary is neither an extensive nor exhaustive overview of the present invention and its various embodiments. The summary presents selected concepts of the embodiments of the present invention in a simplified form as an introduction to the more detailed description presented below. As will be appreciated, other embodiments of the present invention are possible utilizing, alone or in combination, one or more of the features set forth above or described in detail below.
