Abstract: Multilayer plastic composite articles comprise at least one poly (alkylene naphthalate) surface layer which is adherent to at least one surface of a substrate which is formed of a thermoplastic resin. Decorative layers can be located between the substrate and the poly (alkylene naphthalate) surface layers.
