Multimodal Detection Device And Method For Cancer Margin Assessment
Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTIMODAL DETECTION DEVICE A multimodal detection system is described. In an example, the system may include an assessment engine. The assessment engine may cause the emission of multiwavelength light waves. The emitted multiwavelength light waves are incident upon a sample tissue. After that, the assessment engine may determine the occurrence of reflected waves, wherein the reflected waves are reflected by the sample tissue on which the multiwavelength light waves were incident. The data obtained based on the detection of the reflected waves may be analyzed based on predefined assessment criteria. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the assessment engine may determine whether the sample tissue comprises a portion in a specific state.
