Multiple Polyphase Ac Dynamo Electric Machine And Electric Power Steering Device
Abstract: A multiple polyphase AC dynamo electric machine provided with the following: an armature that has a stator core said stator core being provided with a plurality of magnetic teeth and multiple polyphase winding groups wound around said teeth; and a rotor that is positioned relative to the armature with a magnetic gap interposed therebetween. The stator core has a plurality of magnetic connecting sections that connect adjacent flanges in each pole section of the aforementioned plurality of teeth. Each of said connecting sections corresponds to a slot and is provided on the inward side of said slot. Since the radial widths of the connecting sections are smaller than both the circumferential widths of the teeth and the radial widths of the flanges voltages generated when the magnetic flux generated by current flowing through one group of windings links with the windings in another group are suppressed effectively.
