Field of invention
The object of this invention is to outdo the principal problem i.e. yellowing of textile by using
natural extract base formulation. The formulation Vege 03X is used for improving the ozone
fastness of the colored fibersldyes, the major cause of yellowing of textile. Herbs Aloe
barbadensis, and Cumminum cyminum were extracted separately in methanol and for the first
time used in the formulation of Vege 03X to improve the ozone fastness of dyes/ color fibers.
Summary of the invention
It is therefore an object of this invenliori to provide natural extraction method and composition
name as Vege03X that increases ozone fastness of dyes fabric to 3-4 from existing 1-2. Thus,
thesenatural extract is useful to improve fastness of dyes when expose to ozone with a least side
effect and longtime protection of fabrics from ozone.
A composition consist of a natural methanolic extract of Aloe barbadensis, and Cumminum
cyminum (seed) having antioxidant and antiozonotic activity that help in reducing and
preventing the yellowing of textiles caused by ozone.

Vege 03X is a wonderful product that increases ozone fastness of dyed fabric to 3-4 from
existing 1-2. It is highly useful in maintaining designed look of fabrics at showroom and not to
go yellow if it remains in showroom for long time.
It is formulated with the extract of cumin seeds and Aloe Vera, which are rich as antioxidant and
in ozone protection. Along with their extracts, the chemistry of Vege 03X is designed to
strengthen the pi bond in C=C bonding of dyes structure. Vege 03X forms cross linking of
molecules that protect pi bond in dyes. It is seen as a colorless layer on the surface of fabric that
forms cross linking with the dyes.
The presences of extract of aloe and cumin seed also give antibacterial properties to the 03X
treated product
Procedure:
The cold treatment process is conducted on the dyed fabric treating with 30gpl Vege 03X for
30min.Then treated fabric was dried.

YWe claim:
1. An ozone fastness improver Vege 03X has been developed with a composition of a natural
extract of Aloe barbadensis, and Cumminum cyminum containing superb bioactive component
which have the unique ability to combat with the ill- effects of ozone that is yellowing effect on
fabric.
2. The claiml product Vege 03X is a wondehl product that increases ozone fastness of dyed
fabric to 3-4 from existing 1-2.

protects from UV damage. The herb contains aloin, which can block up to 30 percent of the
ultraviolet rays when applied.

which has cuminaldehyde, the major active principle, having good antioxidant activity
