Abstract: The present invention relates to a non-destructive method for detecting a cell failure, the method comprising the steps of: (a) preparing a cell including a carbonaceous material as an anode active material; (b) charging the cell; and (c) XRD scanning the charged cell from the terminal of the anode to the inside, wherein a determination is made to see whether the XRD scans are observed to have a LiC6 peak of the anode in the area after a signal of an anode current collector appears.
