Abstract: This non-directional electromagnetic steel sheet has a prescribed chemical composition, and when, upon observing by EBSD in a plane parallel to the steel sheet surface, the total area is represented by Stot, the area of grains in the (411) orientation is represented by S411, the area of grains in the orientation in which the Taylor factor M is over 2.8 is represented by Styl, the total area of grains in the orientation in which the Taylor factor M is 2.8 or below is represented by Stra, the average KAM value of grains in the (411) orientation is represented by K411, and the average KAM value of grains in the orientation in which the Taylor factor M is over 2.8 is represented by Ktyl, satisfies the relationships 0.20 = Styl/Stot = 0.85, 0.05 = S411/Stot = 0.80, S411/Stra = 0.50, and K411/Ktyl = 0.990.
