Abstract: This non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet has a chemical constitution that includes 1.0-5.0 mass% Si, the sheet thickness is 0.10-0.35 mm, the average crystal grain diameter is 30-200 µm, X1 value as defined by X1 = (2×B50L+B50C)/(3×Is) is less than 0.845, E1 value as defined by E1 = EL/EC is 0.930 or greater, and the iron loss W10/1k is 80 W/kg or less. (Here, B50L is the magnetic flux density in the rolling direction when magnetized with a magnetizing force of 5000 A/m, B50C is the magnetic flux density in the direction orthogonal to rolling when magnetized with a magnetizing force of 5000 A/m, Is is the spontaneous magnetization at room temperature, EL is Young's modulus in the rolling direction, and EC is the Young's modulus in the direction orthogonal to rolling.)
