Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is dedicated towards finding the perfect substitute for the chewable zarda which when consumed will give almost the same taste, smell, kind of sense of chewing, and mental relaxation as the conventional zarda, but instead of causing some serious harms to the body it will be healthy for the mouth and the body and will also help increase the immunity power.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Chewing of Pan Masala and tobacco is a common habit among people of all ages now a days. Especially'in countries ...ljke_ J ndja,. . Pakistan.,. Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia and Arab countries has highest consumption rates of chewing tobacco which is a harmful and unhealthy product.

But with the increasing number of cases of mouth cancers in the country there is a need of finding a perfect substitute for these products which helps in removing difficulties among chewing tobacco users in giving-up.

Gutka is a mixture of areca nut with slaked lime, catechu, tobacco and other flavoring agents. It is widely available and used by all the sections of society. It is genotoxic as it increases sister chromatin exchange and chromatin aberrations.
Among humans, it is a leading cause of oral submucous fibrosis that often progresses to oral cancer. Among experimental animals, it leads to neoplastic lesions in lung, liver and stomach. It is hepatotoxic leading to increased level of enzymes, deranged carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. It is harmful to kidneys and testes leading to increased creatinine and sperm deformities respectively. Chewing Tobacco is a very harmful substance affecting almost all organ systems, and there is immediate need for a national policy on complete ban on the production, storage, sale and marketing of the same.
Areca nut, the seed of Arecacatechu is the fourth most common addictive substance in this world. It is primarily consumed in South-East Asia, Taiwan and~~Papua New Guinea and is aleading cause ororal cancers in these regions.
ZafcTa" /'"Chewing Tobacco"use~i"s'7alTipa"ht: in "India byalTThe sections and age groups of the society. It has emerged as a major cause of oral cancer in India. National Family Health Survey-2 showed that 21% of people over 15 years ofage consumed pan masala, gutka or chewing tobacco. Study in the state of Tamil Nadu showed that the age at which people start consuming areca nut products ranges from 12 to 70 years. 58% of the survey subjects chewed the products more than twice a day. Advertising tobacco products including pan masala containing tobacco is banned in

India since May 1, 2004. To bypass this ban tobacco companies are advertising pan masala ostensibly without tobacco, heavily in all forms of media. Pan Masala is surrogate for tobacco products as the money spent on marketing, and advertising is many times of the revenue generated from the sales. In Mumbai after the ban, the sale reduced and the percentage of users quitting and reducing the habit was 23.53% and 55.88% respectively. The main reason of quitting and reduction in consumption was nonavailability of these products. In spite of the ban gutka was still available but in different forms or at increased cost. Strict law in the form of cigarettes and other tobacco products act 2003 has been made in India, but the enforcement and compliance is lax. There is a need for alternate solution to the chewing tobacco. The consumers should also be made aware of the harmful effects of pan masala as they are under a false impression that it is not harmful.

The current invention is dedicated to the formation of herbal compound when consumed will give identical taste and sense as the conventional zarda (Tobacco).
The procedure of obtaining such a replacement, the conventional pan masala is divided into different ingredients from which it is made. Then herbal substitutes are developed for each of these ingredients which will further be mixed with each other adopting the same technique as of the conventional product.
The Figure 1 describes process of developing Group A Ingredients which is the substitute for Chewing Tobacco.
Natural herbs like, Neem chaal, gundichaal, Gulab leaf, Ashwagandha, Tez patta, khairchaal, nagarmatha, dabai flower, peepal patta, sweat paan patta, & tulsi patta are processes and mixed in an appropriate quantities .and form.
Thereafter mixture goes through a precise cleaning process and sent for the crushing process retaining flavor and smell. Finally, after screening process, final Group A Ingredient is obtained.
The Figure 2 shows the process of developing Group B Ingredient which is a blend of natural and artificial essences.

During the process Ashwagandha, mint, tuisi natural essences mixed together to form liquid solution and hence we Group B ingredient are obtained.
The third figure shows the process of developing Group C Ingredient which
isflavoring silver foil flakes.
Here, thin sheet of about silver foil is went through the process of cutting, then, crushing process is applied on this. After that, it is went through a screening process to filter the foil pieces from small particles. This is how Group C ingredient is obtained.
The above figure shows the flowchart for the development of the final product.
Here the Group A ingredient and Group B ingredient are mixed together in appropriate ratios as shown in the figure. In next stage of process, product is /.sent to drying process for moisture controlling. The mixture & Group B —Ingredients-are-mixed in -the-preseribed -ratios-shown in the-figure and sent again for drying process. Post drying and obtaining optimum moisture level, screening process is applied to get the final product.
