Abstract: The invention relates to novel oxazoliclinone compounds, their derivatives, analogs, tantomeric forms, sterio isomers, polymorphs, pharmacentically acceptable salts, solvates and pharmaceutical compositions containing them with reduced toxic effect. The invention also provides a process for the preparation of novel oxazoliclinone. The compound was known to possess antimicrobial activity.
