FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention is related to novel auto-disable syringe for single use.
PRIOR ART
Currently available disposable syringe(s) can be re-used & miss-used. This
causes harmful effects not only to the patients but also to the healthcare
workers. Hence, an improved single use syringe is required to be introduced.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention IS to provide novel auto-disable
syringe for single use which overcomes disadvantages associated with the prior
art.
Another object of the present invention is to provide novel auto-disable syringe
for single use which is simple in construction and efficient.
Further object of the present invention is to provide novel auto-disable syringe
for single use which does not cause jerk (discomfort) to the patients while
injecting.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide novel auto-disable
syringe for single use which avoids bending during manufacturing process,
thereby reducing percentage of rejection and improving quality.
STAETMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there IS provided novel auto-disable synnge for
single use comprising a plunger with an arrow like tip accommodated inside a
barrel, wherein the tip is provided with a hole for smooth entry of said plunger
into the barrel nozzle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
Further objects and advantages of this invention will be more apparent from
the ensuing description when read in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings and wherein:
Fig: 1 shows: front view of novel auto-disable syringe of the present invention
(a) before injecting the medicine (b) after injecting the medicine in locked
position.
Fig. 2 shows: novel auto-disable syringe according to the present invention.
Fig. 3 shows: top view of lower part of syringe.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE
ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:
The present invention is directed to novel auto-disable syringe for single use.
Reference may be made to fig. l(b). The novel auto disable syringe comprising
of a plunger with an arrow like profile of its tip (2) accommodated inside a
barrel nozzle (3). The tip of plunger gets locked by means of an '0' ring gasket
(1) inside the barrel luer(nozzle) after use. Further, there is provision of two
point supports on the top surface of lower part of said syringe constituting
weaker zone. This provision is already disclosed in the parent application.
However, with the above provision the patient feels pain while being injected
-4-
With the medicament due to exertion of more force/pressure. Again, there are
chances of bending while using the syringe due to presence of the weaker zone.
Hence, the present invention has been proposed to address the aforesaid
drawbacks.
Now, again referring to fig. l(b), in which the tip (2) is provided with a hole (H)
for smooth entry of plunger into the barrel. So that, the patient does not feel
jerk (discomfort) while being injected with medicament.
Further, reference may be made to fig. 2 and 3. The lower part of plunger (L) is
provided with a rib (R) on its top surface extending from one end to other end.
This acts as an additional support together with two point support (P). As
already provided in the parent application, the lower surface of upper part of
syringe is also provided with two pint support (P).
The provision of additional support on the lower part of plunger leads to better
assembly during manufacturing & prevention of bending. Also, it avoid~
rejection during manufacturing of syringe.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications,
adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments
employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within
the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under th~
following claims:-
