Improper utilisation of fats (lipids) and defective energy utilisation especially in broilers and the egg type chicken in general are the perennial problems encountered in
poultry farms. Choline as a classical B-Vitamin helps to overcome such disorders. Choline chloride main function is to contribute methyl groups to cellular processes and help in building and maintaining cell structure vial Phospholipid synthesis. It is also essential in the formation of acetyl choline. Despite the fact it is being available in poultry feed from natural feed ingredients, its sourcing as choline chloride into poultry rations is a common practice.
Though the addition of choline chloride does help to some extent, the farmers are still facing problems due to many inherent drawbacks of choline chloride viz., purity and synthetic nature in general and the problem of trimethylamine hydrochlroide (TMA) and the complicated process of choline getting converted into phosphotidylcholine, in particular. Because choline chloride, if not processed properly, is found to be toxic and provides absolute negative liver stimulation.
Considering these problems a search was on to find a safer product to take care of lipid metabolism effectively and safely. Lecithin was finally identified as the best molecule to help in the assimilation of fats, without any associated ill effects of choline chloride such as that of TMA. This led to the unique formulation of this novel product with lecithin and co-enzymes that play a significant role in major biochemical processes of cell membrane, mitochondria, plasma and activates lipoprotein lipase system besides acting as a antiatherosclerotic agent safely and effectively.
LECITHIN: Uses:
Regulates inflow and outflow of nutrients to the cells since Lecithin is a lipid
component needed by every living cell.
Involves in major biochemical processes of cell membrane, mitochondria and plasma.
Acts as an emulsifying agent.
Helps in better absorption of Vitamin B by liver and Vitamin A by the intestine.
Helps prevent arteriosclerosis. Reduces cholesterol levels. Protects against cardio
vascular disease.
Prevents fatty build up in vital organs
Exerts a powerful lipotropic effect by virtue of being a natural source of choline.
Coenzymes: Uses:
Activate lipoprotein lipase enzyme system
Hydrolyse the chylomycron triglycerides into glycerol and fatty acids for optimum
dispersal to tissues
Acts as antiatherosclerotic agents
Lecithin & Co-Enzymes nutritional supplement / additive comprises the following Raw Materials in the Proportion mentioned herein:
Composition:
1. LECITHIN 3.15 To 3.45%w/w
Contain: Inositol,Choline, Linoleic Acid,
2. CO-ENZYMES 3025 To 3085 IU/g
3. SODIUM BENZOATE 0.150 TO 0.165% w/w (As preservative)
4. SODIUM 0.075 TO 0.085% w/w

(As carriers)
Process of Manufacturing
5 Dispensing:
The various ingredients, as per the list above, procured from different standard sources, are tested and dispensed at the specified quantities accurately, one by one and then taken into the manufacturing area.
Sifting:
r ,: 1 Sift the dispensed material, one by one through a 12-mesh sieve and collect in a polycover. [iZ.f Ingredients like Sodium Benzoate & Sodium metabisulphite along with approximately 5 kgs of calcite are manually mixed. The unmixed lumps are thoroughly crushed and sieved.
1 .Blending:
Load the cone blender with half the quantity of sifted base material, and the other shifted ingredients also add manually mixed blend and lastly add the remaining half quantity of the sifted base material. Close the lid tightly and switch ON the blender for mixing for duration of 45 minutes.
3 .Unloading of the Blend: After the mixing is over, unload the blend into polycover and send the sample for lab test for batch approval.
This composition is highly effective as nutritional supplement for poultry.
