BACKGROUND OF THE ART
The nutraceutical food or parts of food may provide medical health benefits to child/kids including the prevention and or treatment of several diseases. Protein deficiency is very uncommon if a child/kid has access to a variety of foods and doesn’t have a medical condition that might keep them from taking in enough protein. Specifically, if the children/kids are diagnosed with a medical condition, they are underweight, they have a metabolic condition, or eat a vegetarian diet or a picky eater, and it is possible that they may need a protein supplement.
A nutritious meal is essential for the overall growth of a child’s body and mind. A child’s diet should include vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, and amino acids.
Proteins, the building blocks of life and along with the protein, the other nutritional substances such as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, and amino acids provide the child/kids the necessary nutrients required for overall physical and mental growth.
Nutraceuticals, are foods or bioactive ingredients in foods that protect or promote health whether delivered in raw agricultural commodities, processed foods, dietary supplements, extracts, beverages or other products and occurs at the intersection of food and pharmaceutical industries. The development of next generation nutraceutical “super foods” or products consist of value-addition in the traditional natural diets. Their ingredients have tremendous impact on the health care system and may provide medical health benefits including the prevention and or treatment of various diseases. Nutraceuticals have potential to be used as food supplement, preventive medicine and the growing evidence points in the direction that certain foods fight and or prevent against diseases.
The word Nutraceuticals combine ‘nutrition’ and ‘pharmaceuticals’ to mean that they can be used as preventive drugs or food supplements. The entire concept is based on the disease preventing/treating phytonutrients present in foodstuffs of the diet in combating diseases e.g. phytosterols compete with dietary cholesterol for uptake in intestine thereby blocking cholesterol absorption into the body and can also reduce insulin resistance and targets beta cell activities. Phenols a large group of phytonutrients, have profound importance in preventive medicine. Phytochemicals can enhance the efficacy of vitamin C, can also act against allergies, ulcers, platelet aggregation, controlling hypertension and reduce the risk of estrogen induced cancer.

Brief description of the ingredients and their uses
SOYA PROTEIN (ISOLATE)
Soy is a high-quality protein. It is one of the few known plant foods (the other is amaranth seed and to a lesser degree, quinoa) to contain all the essential amino acids, like those found in meat.
Soybeans are members of the pea (legume) family of vegetables and have been a staple of Asian cuisines for thousands of years.
Soybeans contain hormone-like substances called phytoestrogens that mimic the action of the hormone estrogen and have been associated with beneficial health effects. Eating soybean-based foods may reduce the risk of various health problems, including cardiovascular disease, stroke, coronary heart disease (CHD), some cancers and improve bone health.
Soy protein isolate is a protein that comes from soybeans. It’s cheaper than some protein options and easy to add to your diet.
The use of soy protein helps to lose weight, boost energy, or build muscle. Protein is important for your overall health and boosts development. Soy Protein is 90% protein. Other plant proteins don't have the complete nutritional value that soy does. You may need to add vitamins and minerals to those plant proteins that can already be found in soy protein.
Studies have shown that soy protein can also help your gut barrier, making it easier for your body nutrients. The researchers say dietary soy protein helps your immune defense, too.
Benefits of Soy Protein Isolate
Soy is a complete protein with all nine essential amino acids, more than other plant proteins. It has lots of health benefits:
Cholesterol - Soy protein is good for lowering cholesterol levels, low-density lipoproteins (LDL or “bad” cholesterol), and triglycerides. There’s no cholesterol in soy protein isolate.
Gastrointestinal health - Soy protein has fiber, which is great for your gastrointestinal system. Adding fiber to diet keeps the stomach and lower intestines healthy.
Soy foods are high in vitamins and minerals including B vitamin, zinc and iron. Some supplements have calcium and vitamin D in them too. There are also plenty of antioxidants in soy.

FRUCTO OLIGOSACCHARIDES (FOS)
Fructooligosaccharides are a form of carbohydrate. The term saccharide is another word for sugar, and an oligosaccharide is a molecule made up of a small group of these sugars.
As a dietary ingredient, FOS fits into a few different categories. It is a carbohydrate but is usually listed under fibers. It is also used as a sweetener. An interesting note about FOS is that it passes through the intestines undigested.
FOS does not cause a spike in a person’s blood sugar as other sweeteners do, and it is also low in calories. For these reasons, FOS may be ideal for people looking for an alternative sweetener.
In nature, FOS is found in many different plants, including common plants such as banana, artichoke, onion, chicory, garlic, asparagus, yacon root, blude agave and in many other plant species in nature as well.
FOS is broken down in various ways and comes in a few different forms like syrups, powders, extracts, and this results in different end products that have different uses and varying benefits. FOS comes in a few different forms, and each may be used for a specific purpose.
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are used as alternative sweeteners because they carry less calories than sugar and they do not cause a spike in blood sugar. As a dietary ingredient, FOS fits into a few different categories. It is a carbohydrate but is usually listed under fibers. It is also used as a sweetener.
An interesting note about FOS is that it passes through the intestines undigested.
While FOS may provide some people with a beneficial sweetener or an easy form of prebiotic to improve their gut health, it might not be wise to overeat these extracts. Consuming a diet rich in the foods containing FOS may be the best way to enjoy the benefits without ingesting an excess.

ASHWAGANDHA EXTRACT (Withania somnifera)
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is commonly known as “Indian Winter cherry” or “Indian Ginseng”. It is one of the most important herb of Ayurveda (the traditional system of medicine in India) used for millennia as a Rasayana for its wide ranging health benefits. Rasayana is described as an herbal or metallic preparation that promotes a youthful state of physical and mental health and expands happiness. These types of remedies are given to small children as tonics, and are also taken by the middle-aged and elderly to increase longevity. Among the ayurvedic Rasayana herbs, Ashwagandha holds the most prominent place. It is known as “Sattvic Kapha Rasayana” Herb (Changhadi, 1938). Most of the Rasayana herbs are adaptogen / anti-stress agents.
Ashwagandha is commonly available as a churna, a fine sieved powder that can be mixed with water, ghee (clarified butter) or honey. It enhances the function of the brain and nervous system and improves the memory. It improves the function of the reproductive system promoting a healthy sexual and reproductive balance. Being a powerful adaptogen, it enhances the body's resilience to stress. Ashwagandha improves the body's defense against disease by improving the cell-mediated immunity. It also possesses potent antioxidant properties that help protect against cellular damage caused by free radicals.
The biologically active chemical constituents of Withania somnifera (WS) include alkaloids (isopelletierine, anaferine, cuseohygrine, anahygrine, etc.), steroidal lactones (withanolides, withaferins) and saponins. Sitoindosides and acylsterylglucosides in Ashwagandha are anti-stress agents. Active principles of Ashwagandha, for instance the sitoindosides VII-X and Withaferin-A, have been shown to have significant anti-stress activity against acute models of experimental stress. Many of its constituents support immunomodulatory actions. The aerial parts of Withania somnifera yielded 5-dehydroxy withanolide-R and withasomniferin-A.
Ashwagandha has been used as a Rasayana. The root of Ashwagandha is regarded as tonic, aphrodisiac, narcotic, diuretic, anthelmintic, astringent, thermogenic and stimulant. The root smells like horse (“ashwa”), that is why it is called Ashwagandha (on consuming it gives the power of a horse). It is commonly used in emaciation of children (when given with milk, it is the best tonic for children), debility from old age, rheumatism, vitiated conditions of vata, leucoderma, constipation, insomnia, nervous breakdown, goiter etc. The paste formed when roots are crushed with water is applied to reduce the inflammation at the joints. It is also locally applied in carbuncles, ulcers and painful swellings. The root in combination with other drugs is prescribed for snake venom as well as in scorpion-sting. It also helps in leucorrhoea, boils, pimples, flatulent colic, worms and piles. The Nagori Ashwagandha is the supreme among all Ashwagandha varieties. Maximum benefit appears when fresh Ashwagandha powder is used.
The leaves are bitter and are recommended in fever, painful swellings. The flowers are astringent, depurative, diuretic and aphrodisiac. The seeds are anthelmintic and combined with astringent and rock salt remove white spots from the cornea. Ashwagandharishta prepared from it is used in hysteria, anxiety, memory loss, syncope, etc. It also acts as a stimulant and increases the sperm count.

MACA ROOT(Lepidium Meyenii)
The Maca Root, known scientifically as Lepidium Meyenii, is sometimes referred to as Peruvian Ginseng. Maca Root has traditionally been used to enhance fertility and sex drive. It's also claimed to improve energy and stamina. Maca Root is very Nutritious, and is a great source of several important vitamins and minerals. Maca can increase sperm production and improve sperm quality, thereby enhancing fertility in men.
Furthermore, it contains various plant compounds, including glucosinolates and polyphenols. Maca increases sex drive in both men and women. Menopause is defined as the time in a woman's life when her menstrual periods stop permanently.
The natural decline in estrogen that occurs during this time can cause a range of unpleasant symptoms.
These include hot flashes, vaginal dryness, mood swings, sleep problems and irritability. One review of four studies in menopausal women found that Maca helped alleviate menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes and interrupted sleep. Additionally, animal studies suggest that Maca can help protect bone health.Maca Root is a good source of carbs, is low in fat and contains a fair amount of fibre. It's also high in some essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, copper and iron.Furthermore, it contains various plant compounds, including glucosinolates and polyphenols and helps Boost Sports Performance and Energy levels. It helps Improve Learning, Memory & Concentration.

GOTU KOLA (CENTELLA ASIATICA)
Gotu kola is a perennial plant of the parsley family.1 It has a scientific name of Centella asiatica (C. asiatica). Gotu kola is native to southern Asia. However, it also grows in other parts of the world, such as Mexico, South America, and South Africa.
Gotu kola has certain active constituents (parts) called saponins or triterpenoids, which may include asiaticoside, madecassoside, and madasiatic acid. These plant substances are likely responsible for how gotu kola works.
Like many natural products, people may use gotu kola for various reasons. But there are several studies assessing gotu kola for the following potential uses.
Brain-related Effects
In a small clinical study, results suggest that older adults—with a mean age of roughly 65 years old—may benefit from gotu kola. In fact, older adults experienced better moods. What's more, the study participants showed improved cognitive function. Cognitive function may include the abilities of attention, decision-making, learning, focusing, memory development, problem-solving, reasoning, thinking.
Blood Circulation
Historically, gotu kola had many uses. Today, it might be used as a phlebotonic (tones the walls of veins). In other words, people might use it for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).
CVI is a medical condition that tends to happen in your legs. In this condition, your blood vessels have trouble circulating (moving) blood back toward the heart. So, people may have some swelling as the blood pools in legs. People with CVI may also experience ulcers.

VITAMIN C - Vitamin C is one of the safest and most effective nutrients, experts say. Though it may not be the cure for the common cold, the benefits of vitamin C may include protection against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease, and even skin wrinkling. The tolerable upper intake level (or the maximum amount you can take in a day that likely won’t cause harm) is 2000 mg a day for adults.
A study published in Seminars in Preventive and Alternative Medicine that looked at over 100 studies over 10 years revealed a growing list of possible benefits of vitamin C.
Vitamin C has received a great deal of attention, and with good reason. Higher blood levels of vitamin C may be the ideal nutrition marker for overall health," says study researcher Mark Moyad, MD, MPH, of the University of Michigan. "The more we study vitamin C, the better our understanding of how diverse it is in protecting our health, from cardiovascular, cancer, stroke, eye health [and] immunity to living longer.

VITAMIN A - Vitamin A (retinol, retinoic acid) is a nutrient important to vision, growth, cell division, reproduction and immunity. Vitamin A also has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are substances that might protect your cells against the effects of free radicals — molecules produced when your body breaks down food or is exposed to tobacco smoke and radiation. Free radicals might play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases.

VITAMIN B5 - Vitamin B5, also called pantothenic acid, is one of 8 B vitamins. All B vitamins help the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which the body uses to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B complex vitamins, also help the body use fats and protein. B complex vitamins are needed for healthy skin, hair, eyes, and liver. They also help the nervous system function properly.
All B vitamins are water-soluble, meaning that the body does not store them.
In addition to playing a role in the breakdown of fats and carbohydrates for energy, vitamin B5 is critical to the manufacture of red blood cells, as well as sex and stress-related hormones produced in the adrenal glands, small glands that sit atop the kidneys. Vitamin B5 is also important in maintaining a healthy digestive tract, and it helps the body use other vitamins, particularly B2 (also called riboflavin). It is sometimes called the "anti-stress" vitamin, but there is no concrete evidence whether it helps the body withstand stress.
Vitamin B5 is used for the benefits of high cholesterol/high triglycerides, skin care and would healing, rheumatoid arthritis.
Deficiency of Vitamin B5 causes fatigue, insomnia, depression, irritability, vomiting, stomach pains, burning feet, and upper respiratory infections,

VITAMIN B6 - Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine) is important for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous system and immune system healthy.
People who have kidney disease or conditions that prevent the small intestine from absorbing nutrients from foods (malabsorption syndromes) are more likely to be vitamin B-6 deficient. Certain autoimmune disorders, some epilepsy medications and alcohol dependence also can lead to vitamin B-6 deficiency. This can cause a condition in which people does not have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body's tissues (anemia), confusion, depression and a weakened immune system.
The benefits to take Vitamin B6 helps to maintain good health of heart and blood vessel, morning sickness, premenstrual syndrome, sideroblastic anemie (genetic type of anemia).
Vitamin B-6 deficiency is usually coupled with deficiency in other B vitamins, such as folic acid (vitamin B-9) and vitamin B-12.

VITAMIN B12 – Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps keep your body’s blood and nerve cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all of your cells. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent megaloblastic anemia, a blood condition that makes people tired and weak.
Vitamin B12 plays a key role in many aspects of health and may support bone health, red blood cell formation, energy levels, and mood. Eating a nutritious diet or taking a supplement can help ensure the needs.
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is an essential vitamin that your body needs but cannot produce.
It’s found naturally in animal products, but also added to certain foods and available as an oral supplement or injection.
Vitamin B12 has many roles in your body. It supports the normal function of your nerve cells and is needed for red blood cell formation and DNA synthesis (Trusted Source).
For most adults, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) is 2.4 micrograms (mcg), though it’s higher for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding (Trusted Source).
Vitamin B12 may benefit your body in impressive ways, such as by boosting your energy, improving your memory, and helping prevent heart disease.
Here are 9 health benefits of vitamin B12, all based on science.
Helps with red blood cell formation and anemia prevention, May support bone health and prevent osteoporosis, May reduce your risk of macular degeneration, May improve mood and symptoms of depression, May benefit your brain by preventing the loss of neurons, May give you an energy boost, May improve heart health by decreasing homocysteine, Supports healthy hair, skin, and nails

ENZYME BLENDS
Enzymes as mentioned hereinabove are proteins that speed up chemical reactions occurring in a dough. They work on specific substrates in the formulation and are deactivated by heat or other chemical changes in the formulation.
“Because enzymes can modify different components of the dough — starch, proteins or lipids, they can be used to improve loaf volume, crumb structure, dough stability, tolerance, taste and flavor, and crumb softness,” said Luc Casavant, application director, Lallemand Baking. “They can be added in formulations as single enzymes or as enzyme blends to optimize their activity or create synergies between enzymes.”
Working with multiple enzymes to improve multiple aspects requires a holistic approach. By looking at the entire formula and how enzymes are working together and with other ingredients, bakers can optimize performance.
It has been found that utilization of the above-mentioned method with combinations of products results in a dehydrated composition that is homogeneous and resistant to separation of the components. That is, the ratio of the components is retained in the dried product. The method produces a dehydrated product with a density similar to that obtained through cold press extraction process.
Products which may be utilized in the combinations for drying include but are not limited to herbs, vitamins, seeds and extracts or purified extracts of herbs, vitamins, seeds, including Sugar, Soya Protein Isolate, Fructo Oligosaccharides (FOS), Extracts of Ashwagandha, Maca root, Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica), Sodium Chloride, Enzyme Blend (Amylase, Lactase, Lipase, Cellulase, Protease), Vitamin Blend (Vitamic C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6 Vitamin B12) and Cocoa Powder.
The extracts of any of aforesaid ingredients may be liquefied by any process, filtered or unfiltered and combined. In some embodiment, the extracts are combined in a ratio of less than 1% to greater than 99% in the liquid form. The liquid combinations are then dried using the methods of the invention to form a gel, a film, a flake, or a powder that retains the original homogeneity of the liquid. The form of the dried product depends on several factors, such as composition of original components, temperature of drying, residence time on the dryer, moisture content of the product.
Homogeneity of the product may be determined by methods known to those skilled in the art. It is known in the art that dry blends containing different combinations of food, herbs, supplements or extracts of food or herbs can experience separation of constituents due to different densities even when particle size is similar. Such separations occur, for example, during transport of the mixtures. The present combinations of dried blends, however, do not undergo a separation of constituents under these circumstances. In some embodiments, the homogeneity of the dried product is retained for at least about three years.
The dried blends of the present invention can be used in a variety of applications. The combinations of ingredients or purified extracts of said ingredients remain homogeneous in dehydrated form will improve the ease of formulations and standardize the constituents of the product. Standardization of constituents will improve the dependability of sensory attributes, nutrients and bioactivities of the combinations. Bioavailability of nutrients may be improved in the presence of the product and the nutritional value of the foods, supplements or extracts. The dried products may be reconstituted with water. The dried blends can be used as a preformulation for the preparation of food, supplemental, or therapeutic product.
As to the preparation of capsules of the dried blends, for example, as nutritional supplements, the dried blends of the present invention are suitable for use in an encapsulation process since they are homogeneous and would not encounter difficulties with ingredient flow that may be present in nonhomogeneous mixtures.
The dried blends of the present invention may be used in compositions for various uses, such as therapeutic, cosmetic, and nutritional uses. For example, the dried blends may be formulated in a composition that contains a therapeutic agent. The therapeutic agent may be present either as part of the dried blend, or as part of a further composition.
As noted above, the dried composition of the present invention can be present in various drug delivery system, including gels, films, flakes, and powders. The form of the dried composition will inform the addition of other components for a particular use. If necessary the composition may be milled at any suitable stage of the process. A suitable sterilization procedure may also be included if necessary. Alternatively raw materials are obtained in sterile condition and the compositions are produced aseptically.
In another embodiment of the invention, the end-product(s) is suitable for use in the form of powder, granules, suspension, tablets or capsules etc.
One more embodiment of the invention, relates to a process for the preparation of herbal health protective, promotive and preventive nutraceutical composition(s) useful as food supplements to ameliorate the general health with optimum nutrients and also help to control the disease related problems. The said process comprising:
