Specification

Description:The project "Nutrient Enriched Vitality Blend Using Natural Materials" focuses on developing a
health-oriented nutritional blend composed entirely of plant-based ingredients. The formulation
includes moringa powder, dehydrated carrot powder, banana powder, dates powder, sweet potato
powder, and desiccated coconut, all chosen for their nutrient density and health benefits. These
ingredients are rich in vitamins like A, C, and essential minerals like iron and potassium, ensuring the
blend supports immunity, energy, and overall health.
The process begins with ingredient collection, followed by pre-processing steps like cleaning and
slicing, after which drying methods (such as dehydration) are applied to retain nutrients. The dried
ingredients are then finely milled to ensure uniform texture and integrated into a balanced blend. No
water is used in the process, as the product is designed as a ready-to-use powder, ensuring long shelf
life and ease of consumption.
This vitality blend is formulated to cater to a wide range of consumers, from toddlers to adults, by
providing essential nutrients in an easily digestible format. Its sustainability lies in the use of natural
ingredients and energy-efficient preparation techniques, making it cost-effective and eco-friendly.
Moreover, the blend is versatile, suitable as a meal supplement or snack, and offers a combination of
natural sweetness, appealing aroma, and smooth texture, making it both nutritious and palatable.
By addressing nutrient deficiencies and promoting overall wellness, this project exemplifies a solution
for modern dietary needs. The development process adheres to high-quality standards, ensuring safety,
nutrition retention, and consumer acceptance.
Collection of Ingredients: High-quality moringa leaves, carrots, bananas, sweet potatoes, and dates
are carefully sourced from organic and sustainable farms. Selection ensures freshness and optimal
nutritional value. Suppliers are chosen based on their adherence to safety and quality standards to
ensure ingredient consistency.
Pre-Processing: Ingredients undergo thorough cleaning, peeling, and slicing to remove impurities and
facilitate even drying. Sanitization ensures the ingredients are safe for consumption and free of
contaminants. Uniform size is maintained during slicing to enable consistent drying rates.
Processing Techniques: Ingredients are dehydrated using methods like hot air drying or freeze-drying
to retain their nutrients and Flavors. Additionally, strict temperature monitoring is applied to prevent
nutrient loss during the process. The drying process is optimized to maintain texture and minimize
discoloration.
Ingredient Integration: The dried components are finely milled into uniform powders using
advanced grinding techniques. Each powder is sieved to ensure a smooth texture for better blending
and consistency. A homogeneity check ensures even distribution of nutrients in the blend.
Formulation: Precise ratios of powders are measured and blended to ensure the product meets
nutritional and sensory requirements. Flavour enhancers or fortifiers may be added at this stage if
needed for taste improvement. Batch testing ensures the final formulation adheres to predefined
nutritional targets.
Packaging: The blend is packed in air-tight, BPA-free, food-grade pouches to maintain freshness and
prevent contamination. The packaging design includes clear labelling with nutritional information and
storage instructions. Secondary packaging ensures the product is protected during transportation and
storage.
Quality Control and Testing: Final products undergo rigorous testing for sensory attributes like taste,
aroma, and texture, as well as nutritional analysis to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Microbial testing is also conducted to verify the safety and shelf stability of the blend. Shelf-life studies
are carried out to determine appropriate storage conditions and expiration dates. , Claims:1. A nutrient-enriched vitality blend, comprising: moringa leaf powder, dehydrated carrot powder,
dehydrated sweet potato powder, dehydrated dates powder, and ripe banana powder in specified
ratios to provide essential vitamins and minerals.
2. The blend, wherein the formulation delivers high bioavailability of nutrients such as vitamin A,
vitamin C, potassium, and iron.
3. The blend, prepared using energy-efficient methods such as drying, milling, and blending to
produce a shelf-stable powdered product suitable for all age groups.
