Abstract: An offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) is described. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) includes a base support (202), a linear support (204), a shaft (206), an upper member (208), and a lower member (210). The linear support (204) is perpendicularly mounted on the base support (202). The lower member (210) receives at least one bottom die (212) and the upper member (208) receives at least one top die (216). A plurality of linear motion guides (220), bearings (222), back plate (224), and upper member support (230) is present to maintain the position of the upper member (208) in a direction parallel to the lower member (210) during the vertical movement of the upper member (208) along the shaft (206). A driving assembly (236) moves the upper member (208). The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) allows multiple dies having various configurations to be accurately adjusted and tested.

1. An offline stamping unit adjustment station (200):
a base support (202);
a linear support (204) mounted on the base support (202), wherein the linear support (204) extends in a direction perpendicular to the base support (202);
a lower member (210) mounted to the base support (202) to receive at least one bottom die (212) for offline adjustment of a modular stamping unit (102);
a shaft (206) mounted on the base support (202), in a direction perpendicular to the base support (202) and parallel to the linear support (204);
an upper member (208) movably coupled to the shaft (206), in a direction parallel to the lower member (210), wherein the upper member (208) is movable in a vertical direction along the axis of shaft (206), and wherein the upper member (208) is to receive at least one top die (216) for offline adjustment of the modular stamping unit (102); and
a plurality of linear motion guides (220) attached on the linear support (204) to maintain the position of the upper member (208) in a direction parallel to the lower member (210) during the vertical movement of the upper member (208) along the shaft (206).
2. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of linear motion guides (220) includes a plurality of bearings (222) to support the upper member (208) during the vertical movement of the upper member (208).
3. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a back plate (224) having a first end (226) connected to the base
support (202) and a second end (228) connected to the linear support (204), to keep the linear support (204) aligned in a direction perpendicular to the base support (202).
4. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising an upper member support (230) having a first end (232) connected to the upper member (208) and a second end (234) connected to the linear support (204), to keep the upper member (208) aligned in a direction perpendicular to the shaft (206).
5. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a driving assembly (236) to move the upper member (208) in the vertical direction along the axis of shaft (206).
6. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the driving assembly (236) is coupled to the shaft (206) to rotate the shaft (206) for moving the upper member (208) in the vertical direction along the axis of shaft (206).
7. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the driving assembly (236) comprises:
a motor (238) to drive the driving assembly (236); and
a gear box (240) coupled to the shaft (206) and the motor (238) to transmit the drive motion of the motor (238) to the shaft (206).
8. The offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) as claimed in claim 1,
further comprising a plurality of clamps (214, 218) to fix the at least one top die (216)
and the at least one bottom die (212) on the upper member (208) and the lower
member (210) respectively.
9. A soap packaging system (100) comprising:
a modular stamping unit (102);
an offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) removably coupled to the modular stamping unit (102) to be adjusted according to various die configurations, the offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) comprising:
a base support (202);
a linear support (204) mounted on the base support (202), wherein the linear support (204) extends in a direction perpendicular to the base support (202);
a lower member (210) mounted to the base support (202) to receive at least one bottom die (212) for offline adjustment of a modular stamping unit (102);
a shaft (206) mounted on the base support (202), in a direction perpendicular to the base support (202) and parallel to the liner support (204);
an upper member (208) movably coupled to the shaft (206), in a direction parallel to the lower member (210), wherein the upper member (208) is movable in a vertical direction along the axis of shaft (206), and wherein the upper member (208) is to receive at least one top die (216) for offline adjustment of the modular stamping unit (102); and
a plurality of linear motion guides (220) attached on the linear support (204) to maintain the position of the upper member (208) in a direction parallel to the lower member (210) during the vertical movement of the upper member (208) along the shaft (206).
10. The soap packaging system (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the offline
stamping unit adjustment station (200) comprises a driving assembly (236) to move
the upper member (208) in the vertical direction along the axis of shaft (206),
wherein the driving assembly (236) comprises:
a motor (238) to drive the driving assembly (236); and
a gear box (240) coupled to the shaft (206) and the motor (238) to transmit the drive motion of the motor to the shaft (206).
11. The soap packaging system (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the offline
stamping unit adjustment station (200) comprises a back plate (224) having a first end
(226) connected to the base support (202) and a second end (228) connected to the
linear support (204), to keep the linear support (204) aligned in a direction perpendicular to the base support (202).
12. The soap packaging system (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the offline stamping unit adjustment station (200) comprises an upper member support (230) having a first end (232) connected to the upper member (208) and a second end (234) connected to the linear support (204), to keep the upper member (208) aligned in a direction perpendicular to the shaft (206).
13. The soap packaging system (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein each of the plurality of linear motion guides (220) includes a plurality of bearings (222) to support the upper member (208) during the vertical movement of the upper member (208).
