FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to oil sump assembly.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The Noise & vibration norms are becoming stringent day by day. Therefore, new technologies are required to be implemented in order to achieve higher levels of Noise & Vibration norms.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide oil sump assembly to reduce noise & vibrations in oil sump of engine during operation.
Another object of the present invention is to provide oil sump assembly which is simple in construction.
Further object of the present invention is to provide oil sump assembly which is effective.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided an oil sump assembly comprising of oil sump assembled with engine through peripheral mounting and a plurality of bosses.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:
The present invention discloses an oil sump assembly comprising of oil sump assembled with engine through peripheral mounting.
Reference may be made to the drawings.
In this system, the oil sump is assembled with engine through outer periphery of oil sump as well as through additional central mounting bosses. This leads to reduction in the Noise and Vibration. In this system, a plurality of Ribs are provided around the central mounting bosses to provide strength. This leads to shift in the Natural frequency to higher side. In this system, Crank Shaft is mounted through central mounting bosses at several places from lower side of oil sump to

block through Main bearings Cap of Crank Shaft. Further, mounting bolt is provided for mounting crank shaft.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM:
1. An oil sump assembly comprising of oil sump assembled with engine through peripheral mounting and a plurality of bosses.
2. An oil sump assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bosses are surrounded by a plurality of ribs for strength.
3. An oil sump assembly as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein Crank Shaft is mounted through central mounting bosses at several places from lower side of oil sump to block through Main bearings Cap of Crank Shaft.
4. An oil sump assembly as claimed in any of the preceding claims, which leads to reduction in noise and vibration.
5. An oil sump assembly substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
