On Band / A Novel Anti Counterfeit Measure
Abstract: ONBand is a novel effective anti – counterfeit measure. As the name suggests, ONBand is a ‘Band’ that is put ‘On’ a particular container / product. The different variants of ONBand are ONBand Regular, eONBand ( ONBand with sensors like RFID / Microchips / Microtags etc ), SONBand ( with holographic / nano pattern images ) and eSONBand ( a combination of eONBand and SONBand). This invention is targeted to counter the counterfeiters who refill / redeploy / reuse the used / empty containers of popular / valuable brands. This invention can be applied to any type of container – Bottles, Jars, Drums etc and which are made of any type of constituent matter like different Plastics, Glass, Metal etc or their combination. This invention will also aid manufacturers to provide a distinctive identity to their product and also an effective and easy verification on the genuineness of their products.
