Abstract: The present subject matter relates to system (100) of cleaning components utilized in painting process. The system (100) includes a paint job line (102) having a paint line conveyor (204) onto which an article (202) supported on a component (104) is conveyed through a paint booth (200). The system (100) further includes a cleaning booth (112) proximally disposed to the paint booth (200) and connected to the paint job line (102) with a cleaning line conveyor (108a, 108b). In an example, the cleaning line conveyor (108a, 108b) receives the component (104) from the paint line conveyor (204) for cleaning in the cleaning booth (112).
CLIAMS:1. A system (100) of cleaning components, the system (100) comprising:
a paint job line (102) comprising a paint line conveyor (204) onto which an article (202) supported on a component (104) is conveyed through a paint booth (200); and
a cleaning booth (112) proximally disposed to the paint booth (200) and connected to the paint job line (102) with a cleaning line conveyor (108a, 108b), wherein the cleaning line conveyor (108a, 108b) receives the component (104) from the paint line conveyor (204) for cleaning in the cleaning booth (112).
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the system (100) is periodically actuated for cleaning the component (104).
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the system (100) is actuated after a predefined number of spray painting processes.
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the system (100) is manually actuated when a worker physically detects that the component (104) has to be cleaned.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cleaning booth (112) is located in proximity to the paint job line (102).
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cleaning booth (112) comprises an occupancy detection sensor for detecting the presence of the component (104) to be cleaned.
7. The system (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the occupancy detection sensor is at least one of a radar sensor, a magnetic field sensor, and an electromechanical sensor.
8. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cleaning booth (112) comprises a plurality of fluid jets (114a) to emit a water jet stream having an incident pressure ranging from 800 bar to 1000 bar.
9. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cleaning booth (112) comprises includes a plurality of air jets (116a) to blow a compressed air directed onto the component (104).
10. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the component (104) is coated with a non-cohesive substance.
11. The system (100) as claimed in claim 10, wherein the non-cohesive substance comprises a fluropolymer.
