Optical Distance Measurement Device And Machining Device
Abstract: An optical distance measurement device (3) is provided with: an optical interference unit (21) for separating reflected light into reflected light having a first polarization and reflected light having a second polarization, extracting mutually orthogonal first and second components from interference light of the reflected light having the first polarization and reference light, and extracting mutually orthogonal third and fourth components from interference light of the reflected light having the second polarization and reference light; and a polarization rotation unit (25) for rotating the polarization angle of a first complex signal having the first and second components and the polarization angle of a second complex signal having the third and fourth components, and thereby acquiring one or more components from among a horizontal component and a vertical component of a polarized wave; the optical distance measurement device (3) being configured so that a distance calculation unit (27) calculates the difference between the frequency of the reflected light and the frequency of the reference light on the basis of the component acquired by the polarization rotation unit (25), and calculates the distance to a measurement object (1) from the difference.
