Abstract: The present invention ensures the smooth rotation of a rotary drive body by means of a simple structure without compromising the characteristics of an ultrasonic motor. The present invention is provided with: an ultrasonic motor which has a rotor and a stator; a rotary drive body which is rotated around an axis by the driving force of the ultrasonic motor so as to move an optical element in the axial direction; a bearing which is capable of rotating around the axis; and a compression spring which imparts an axially biasing force to the ultrasonic motor the rotary drive body and the bearing wherein the compression spring biases the rotor and the stator in the contact direction and biases the rotary drive body and the bearing in the contact direction.
