"Optical Information Recording Medium"

Abstract: An optical information recording medium including: a substrate; two or more information signal layers provided on the substrate; and a cover layer provided on the information signal layers, wherein the surface of one of the side of the substrate and the cover layer is a light irradiation plane, wherein at least one of the information signal layers other than the information signal layer at the deepest portion from the light irradiation plane includes an inorganic recording layer that includes a W oxide and a Pd oxide, a first protective layer that is provided on a first principal plane of the inorganic recording layer, and a second protective layer that is provided on a second principal plane of the inorganic recording layer, wherein at least one of the first protective layer and the second protective layer is a layer with an extinction coefficient of 0.05 to 0.6.
