Abstract: The present invention relates to an oral solution of galanthamine comprising galanthamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof and 4% to 10% w/v of one or more polyols; wherein the composition is free from intense sweeteners and has acceptable organoleptic properties.
