Abstract: The present invention discloses the order picking system for warehouse using augmented reality technology. Application is installed on backend server. Any Augmented reality enabled electronic device is connected to sever. User wear that device. Choose the order list for picking. As soon as order get selected, the location of each and every item shown on the screen. So, user go directly to item location. Scan the item and placed that item on cart. Same process has to follow for all the items in the list.

1) The order picking system for warehouse using augmented reality technology comprising of;
a. Any Augmented Reality enabled electronic device
b. Application of order picking installed on AR enabled device
c. user has to select order which user want to pick
d. Application show the location of items from the selected order list
e. User can pick the item and scan the item
f. Place the item on cart
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, the real time order picking can be done within a short time.
3) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, barcodes are labelled to each and every item for tracking.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the field of computer graphics, and more specifically, to a method and system for real time order picking system of warehouse using augmented reality technology.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Warehouse management have various process. Order picking is the most important process which ensures the consumer receives the right item in correct quantities.
With proper order picking the liability of logistic increases. Most of logistics companies thinks this process is time consuming. The process may include scanning hundreds of barcodes (one at a time) to locate items and fulfil the orders.
In past this process is done manually. But as technology introduced in the warehouse sector, various technologies are used for order picking system.
One of them is barcode implement. Each and every item should have barcode label.
And by scanning this barcode the items are identified and picked for the order.
But still it is very time consuming.
And to locate the item for particular order is very difficult and time consuming.
The present invention suggests the solution to above problems. It suggests the real time order picking system for warehouse using augmented reality technology.
Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display environment that takes the capabilities of computer-generated display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world experience.
It is very useful for warehouse management.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, order picking system for warehouse using augmented reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, smart phone with AR feature/ AR enabled device is required
Another object of the invention is, application is installed to backend server.
Other object of the invention is, location of items can be seen on AR enabled device.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the order picking system for warehouse using augmented reality technology. The system and method comprising of:
The application should install at Augmented Reality enabled device. Open the order picking application (or in case of AR smart glass just wear the glass). Select which order to pick. Application show the location of the items which are included in the list. User with AR enabled device go to that items. Scan the item one by one and placed that item on the cart. As the barcode of item get scanned with AR enabled device, it shows which item from the list are included in cart. Make the list completed using the application.

The present invention discloses the order picking system for warehouse using augmented reality technology.
The present invention system is comprising of contents such as;
Any Augmented Reality enabled electronic device
An application of order picking system
All the items with barcode label on it
The present invention implemented in a combination of both hardware and software.
The present invention system is comprising of;
Step 1) Any Augmented Reality enabled electronic device with the application of order picking application (may be smart phone or tab or AR smart glass)
Step 2) User select which order should be picked
Step 3) As early as order selected, the location of items which are in it is displayed in AR device
Step 4) User goes to item one by one
Step 5) Aim the device which scans the barcode from the item
Step 6) Pick the item and placed on cart
Step 7) Application would show which item from the order picking list is placed in the cart
Step 8) Order picking is completed by collecting all items from the warehouse
This is general overview of system. System is not bounded to this only.
The present invention helpful for this scenario.
The all warehouse items have barcode label on it, which is unique. At server, any order list is prepared with including these items. Barcode labelling should be done at primary stage, so tracking of each and every item can be done.
The system has advantages such as;
It is time saving. Before this invention, the order picking is really a hectic job. The order picking is done manually. And user/ worker has to search all warehouse for particular item. Even if it has barcode in it still it is very hectic and difficult. The present system should find the location of items which are included in order picking list within a second. So, no more searching time is required.
Right item selection. Sometimes it may happen, the items with similarity can be chosen for order pick list. And after dispatch it found that this item is wrong placed.
The present system picks the right item. No duplication or similar items are picked.
Check list of items are shown on screen. The item which are placed on cart are shown to the screen. So, user can come to know which items are picked and which are remaining. No duplicate item picking with this invention.

In market some products related to augmented reality technology is available. These products are used to capture image and giving all data regarding target area. With the augmented reality view of that particular target area, all the information is seen on screen of user/farmer.
Some countries are implementing the similar system for order picking. India is not so far from this. In coming years, the automated warehouse using Augmented Reality technology would be a trend.
