Packet Communication System And Individual Packet Relay Device

Abstract: A packet communication system (100) includes a server (110) and multiple packet relay devices (130). The server (110) transmits, to some packet relay devices (130) from among the multiple packet relay devices (130), a data transfer packet that stores update data for updating update-designated objects of the multiple packet relay devices (130), device identification information of packet relay devices (130) from among the multiple packet relay devices (130) to have the update-designated objects thereof updated, and a data type indicating that the update data is stored. Each of the multiple packet relay devices (130) determines whether a received packet is the data transfer packet, transfers the received packet to another packet relay device (130) when the received packet is the data transfer packet, and updates the update-designated object when the device identification information contained in the received packet matches the device identification information of itself.
