FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a merriment apparatus. More particularly, the present invention relates to a standalone patterning merriment apparatus.
BACKGROUND
[002] Merriment apparatuses have been prevalent in the market since decades. Such apparatuses involve mental, strategical, or logical abilities, depending on their operational method.
[003] These apparatuses may be for children as well as for adults, based on the level of intellectual ability to be applied thereon. These can be classified under two broad categories, educational and entertainment apparatuses.
[004] There are many known types of educational merriment apparatuses, one of which is standalone educational merriment apparatuses, comprising a printed matter placed on top of a hardware. The main disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses, however, is that they are not suitable and/or convenient for beginners, young children and adolescents. Another disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are expensive.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
[005] Objects of the present invention involve overcoming the above-mentioned problem associated with the existing type of educational merriment apparatuses.
[006] Primary object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is standalone in nature.
[007] Another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is easily operated by beginners, young children and adolescents.

[008] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is cost effective.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[009] A patterning merriment apparatus as per the present invention comprises a pointer device, a spinner device, a hardboard, plurality of symbol devices and a booklet. The plurality of symbol devices is arranged on the hardboard as per patterns embossed on the booklet. The pattering merriment apparatus is operated by selecting a symbol out of all the symbols embossed on the spinner device by a plurality of users, flicking the pointer device and aiming to land the same on the selected symbol, collecting the symbol device out of the plurality of symbol devices corresponding to the symbol upon which the pointer device landed, and arranging the collected symbol devices on the hardboard as per the pattern for the selected symbol embossed on the booklet.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

[0015] The present invention discloses a merriment apparatus for teaching compiling and arranging symbolic devices so as to form a pattern.
[0016] The apparatus comprises, but is not limited to, a pointer device, a spinner device, a hardboard, plurality of symbol devices and a booklet.
[0017] The hardboard or frame has hollow impressions, which helps a plurality of users to place the symbol devices thereon. The booklet indicates a pre-determined pattern or order in which the plurality of symbol devices would be required to be placed on the hardboard thereon. The spinner device indicates all the symbols having distinct colors, similar to the colors of all symbol devices.
[0018] The plurality of users first mutually select a particular colored symbol out of all the available symbols embossed on the spinner device. The users then flick the pointer device on the spinner device, aiming to land the pointer device upon the selected symbol embossed on the spinner device. The users then collect the symbol devices corresponding to the symbol upon which the pointer device landed.
[0019] The users aim to collect as many symbol devices as possible so as to complete the pattern or order on the booklet corresponding to the symbol they selected mutually, quicker than their counterparts.

[0020] As per a specific embodiment of the present invention, the number of users is limited to a minimum of two and a maximum of three. It is pertinent to note that the number of users cannot be greater than the total number of distinct symbols embossed on the spinner device. The number of users is mentioned not to limit the scope of invention, but only to further enhance the understanding of the invention to a person skilled in the art.
[0021] As per an alternate embodiment, the present invention can also be optionally realized through an electronically connected means.
[0022] The present invention also discloses a method for operation of such standalone patterning merriment apparatus.

We claims

1.A patterning merriment apparatus comprising:
• a pointer device,
• a spinner device,
• a hardboard,
• plurality of symbol devices, and
• a booklet,
wherein the plurality of symbol devices is arranged on the hardboard as per patterns embossed on the booklet.
2. The patterning merriment apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hardboard has hollow impressions for placing the plurality of symbol devices thereon.
3. The patterning merriment apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the spinner device indicates the various symbols corresponding to the plurality of symbol devices.
4. A method of operation of the patterning merriment apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method comprises the steps of:

• selecting a symbol out of all the symbols embossed on the spinner device by a plurality of users;
• flicking the pointer device and aiming to land the same on the selected symbol;
• collecting the symbol device out of the plurality of symbol devices corresponding to the symbol upon which the pointer device landed;

• arranging the collected symbol devices on the hardboard as per the pattern for the selected symbol embossed on the booklet.
