Abstract: PCB holding stand provides storage facility for the electronics boards in bulk produciton/ manufacturing in all satges of productiton and prvent them from physical adange & dmage due to ESD.The Stand is protable , handy , suitable to requirement.
FIELD OF INVENTION
Invention relates to Assembled PCB storage with ESD protection
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
After assembly of electronic board, there is always requirement for storage
with proper safety and ESD protection in case of bulk manufacturing. The
entire available trays are standard size. PCB which having edge connector or
Mechanical part at the edge could not be stored in the existing trays as the
width/ thickness are large .There is high probability for PCB damage due to
improper storage which results higher rejection rate and increase cost of
production.
As the available PCB storage trays are standard size, it difficult to utilize the
trays for all type of electronic PCBs and requirement arise for invention.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, the holding stand
can be used to store any dimension of electronic PCBs with or without any
edge connectors.
In accordance with second aspect of present invention, provide storage
of PCB in any stage of production process like before varnishing, after
varnishing and climatic testing.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, it is smaller
in size & weight and handy to transport at different work station.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention structure of
PCB holding stand is such that it holds the assembly test piece preciously &
stable.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention to provide
the tractability for the all stored PCBs.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, this
provides ESD protection for SMD component assembled in PCB.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, it provides
grounding of PCB stand with a copper wire for ESD protection.
Annexure-II
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the holding
stand is capable to hold & store multiple PCBs at same stand.

Detailed Description of drawing
Referring Fig.1,Fig .2& Fig.3, the present invention is a PCB holding stand 10
which holds the different sizes of PCB’s and the designed structure of holding
stand is capable to provide additional ESD protection by grounding the stand
with a copper wire.
PCB holding stand 10 comprises feet plates 1 of Al-Alloy in two quantities
which are welded with resting Plate R.H. & L.H. The frame at both end of the
holding fixture provides stabilized fixing for different slots.
PCB Holding stand 10 comprises resting plates L.H. Side 2 & R.H.
Side 3 of Al-Alloy which are welded on the surface B of the Feet Plate 1. The
present invention has a Deep slot in it to suit the PCB’s dimensions. Further, it
hold the PCB’s on proper position to maintain proper distance among the
PCBs which avoid any type of physical or ESD damage.
PCB Holding stand 10 comprises riser blocks L.H. side 4 & R.H. side 5 of
Al- Alloy in four qty. which are welded at four corners on the surface C of the
Resting Plates.2 & 3. This provides proper height to the Guided plates 6 & 7
as per the height of the PCB’s. They are also holds the guide plates through
CSK Screw 8.
PCB Holding Stand 10 Comprises Guide Plates L.H.6 & 7 of Al-Alloy which
are fixed on the riser Block L.H. side & R.H. on the surface ‘E’ of the Riser
Block through CSK. Screw 8. Guide plates have through hole, to suit the any
dimension of PCB’s.

1. A PCB holding stand comprising
a. feet plates of Al. Alloy
b. Resting plate RH & LH
c. Deep slot area suitable to PCB size &
d. CSK screws.
2. The said invention of claim 1 wherein any dimension electronic
PCBs with or without any edge connector are stored properly in case of
bulk production / manufacturing in electronic industries.
3. The said invention of claim 1 wherein provides storage of PCB
after all the stages in assembly line. It may be utilized for storage
purpose after assembly, dry the board after cleaning board by
Isopropyl.
4. The said invention of claim 1 wherein provides proper storage
during varnishing.
5. The said invention of claim 1 wherein provides the
traceability for all stored PCBs.
6. The said invention of claim 1 wherein provides ESD protection
of SMD component assembled in PCB.
7. The said invention of claim 1 wherein provides storage for
atleast one PCB in same stand.
