Permanent Magnet Type Motor
Abstract: A permanent magnet type motor with reduced torque ripple wherein torque ripples due to the sixth order and twelfth order electrical angle components are both reduced with a small skew angle is provided. This permanent magnet type motor is configured so as to be driven with the phases of currents that flow in two sets of three phase armature windings (26 1 2) being offset from each other by an electrical angle of 20° to 40° a rotor (11) is composed of m stages of rotor components that are arranged in an axial direction the m stages of rotor components are respectively constructed into a skewed stage structure and the skew angle (?) (unit: degree) between adjoining units satisfies 26/m=?=43.2/m (m is an integer equal to or greater than 2) in terms of electrical angle.
