Pharmaceutical Composition For Treating Degenerative Brain Disease, Including Neural Precursor Cells Derived From Pluripotent Stem Cells
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating degenerative brain disease, comprising neural precursor cells derived from pluripotent stem cells, and, according to one embodiment, neural precursor cells differentiated from pluripotent stem cells and administered by intracerebroventricular injection in an amyloid beta injection animal model have the beneficial effect of continuing to be effective in strengthening cognitive function over a long period of time, and thus can be effectively used in the treatment of degenerative brain diseases including Alzheimer's disease.
